AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. Save yourself from getting hassled...
I ordered a torsion spring with bars on a Saturday (5-7-11). Tuesday morning I checked their shipping status page which was useless since it was blank. I called the company 1-800 number, left a message and no one returned my call. I then e-mailed the company and received a very rude response. After a brief email exchange, the company still refused to update their own shipping link. Thinking I was dealing with a rude company representative, I asked to speak with the owner and subsequently discovered the person I was dealing with was the COMPANY BOSS.
At the time of this posting I still haven't received my order. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.
Below is the full e-mail exchange of abuse I endured.
Subject: RE: order yhst-10866252948330-9471 from Garage Door Springs FIX IT
TERRY (BOSS): Here’s one better, refuse the spring and winding bars send it back and I’ll even give a full credit including the shipping Charges. Take YOUR pompous attitude and shove up your big bot.
I am the boss!
CUSTOMER: Great customer feedback. Try joining the big-boy club... with your attitude corporate America would have fizzled out decades ago. Last time I'll be doing business with you. Please send me a contact for your company boss. I'm sure that person would be interested on why his sales are slipping.
TERRY (BOSS): No you missed the point, don’t claim you ordered 4 days ago, your receiving the spring in one business Day. what is there to update!!!
CUSTOMER: Thank you but apparently you missed my point. Please UPDATE your tracking form. It's useless otherwise.
TERRY (BOSS): You ordered Saturday. Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days. In any event your Springs will be delivered today.
CUSTOMER: Hello, I ordered this 4 days ago. Went online through your tracking service and the field entries are blank. ?? Please provide shipping status. Thank you.
