Server placed one roll on plate a complete turn off at dinner time. Expensive dishes didn't even include a salad. Food was ok but way too pricey. more

Food was not at all good. Very bland and one has to wonder with all those selections on the menu, how can they possibly keep all that food fresh? The menu read like a diner menu with way too many choices. Our server seemed to be annoyed with waiting on us right away. Would not recommend this restaurant. more

I do not know what other revierwers wet talking about! The food, staff, and restaurant were fabulous! Everyone was so kind, the food was the best of my life, and the restaurant was so clean and beautiful! I would go back every day if I could! It is definitely my favorite restaurant! Gordon Ramsey would have a field day. The steak looked fabulous but had a flavor that was indescribable (dirty grill plate maybe?). Seafood risotto (listed on the menu as a 'signature dish') was awful, some rice crunchy, some creamy with a truly odd flavor. Waitstaff and management was helpful and tried their best to resolve our issues, however the pasta ordered to replace the risotto was mediocre at best (I could have used a jar of sauce taken from my kitchen cabinet with better results). I have been here twice and really enjoyed it. Our waitstaff was wonderful, the food was terrific. I have to reccomend the Sunday Brunch, because its above and beyond what you'd expect from such a small restaurant in such a weird location (in a strip mall?). This place deserves to be in one of those beautiful old buildings, or a wonderful location on MainStreetat Exton w/ a terrific exterior. I ate a tiny bite of every single thing at the Brunch and all of it tasted wonderful. I have never enjoyed a brunch more. I just wish it was bigger, although the restaurant is a decent size, it has a cozy intimate feel to it, and maybe the popularity of it and the amount of people made it feel smaller. Service was excellent, food was excellent, food service workers were excellent. Our waitress was very sweet and did NOT flirt w/ my husband, which I appreciated, she talked to me and him equally - which unfortunately doesn't happen enough for me. I held a fairly small private party here and was very pleased with the service and food. This restaurant is clean and tastefully decorated. Great atmosphere. When I rec'd the bill there was an 18% gratuity added on, which was expected and deserved. However, when I rec'd the receipt, there was a line requesting an additional gratuity be added to the bill. When I didn't add more cash, I felt a coldness come over the staff. This request for an extra gratuity took me by surprise. Perhaps it's the norm for private parties held in restaurants, but I think it is tacky and has the possiblilty of making a customer like myself (who tipped well in the first place), feel like a dud for not tipping even more. Pros: ambience, service, food. You can't go wrong here. Great variety from sandwiches to fine cuisine. Cons: request for ADDITIONAL tip for private parties on top of the 18% already tagged on the bill. more
