The mission of Amelia Baptist Church is to lead people who are without Christ into a love relationship with Him and to assist them to become His disciples. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations," said Jesus to his disciples, "baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matt. 28:19-20, NIV). We believe that if we will "be" what God has created us to be, then we will do what He has commanded us to do. Again, our mission is to bring people who are without Christ into a love relationship with Him. Further, our mission includes assisting new believers to become fully functional followers of Christ..
