I recently got married, i picked AMA to do my wedding and they were wonderful, in fact they they were so patient with me, since i became a bride-zilla, i could not thank them enough ! Pros: WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! more

since the beggining of my wedding ama has been so helpful!!! thank god cause i was nearly was a reck doing this wedding the words to describe me was (((((((stressed out nervous and emotional ))))))))) cause planning a weddind is crazy and when u have kids and have to work it takes alot of time its actually a whole nother job but ur paying alot of money ((lol )) if i had to recommend any video and photographer i would highly recommend ama very understanding and helpful they take alot of thier time going over stuff and explaing everything to u. my pictures were amazing and also my dvd thankyou u guys so much for helping me plan my special event ......... Pros: i loved the work and my photographer he took his time and took all the pictures i wanted more

Honestly I do not agree with most of these reviews. AMA did a great job not only the day of the event but afterwards as well. My experience from beginning to end was wonderful, they have helpful assistants that can help you if you ever had a question about something. On my final appointment they sat with me to confirm the times and locations, I also filled out a 3 page form were I specified the types of pictures that I wanted, which is alot of help because the day of the event your so nervous that you forget who you want pictures with,and sure enough they were there when I received my proofs. I have 2 friends that will be getting married this year and they are going with AMA because they have seen the quality in pictures and albums that I received, and they saw the good job they did the day of my event. I would highly recommend this company. more

IF I NEED TO FIND A WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS COMPANY I THINK THERE IS NO SUCH WORD. AMA VIDEO PRODUCTION IS A NIGHTMARE COMING TRUE. I GOT MARRIED ON SIGNATURE GARDENS LAST YEAR. I SPEND A LOT OF MONEY ON MY WEDDING BECAUSE IT WAS THE DAY THAT EVERY WOMAN DREAM ABOUT. I MAKE LIKE THREE APPOINTMENT BEFORE MY WEDDING TO CHECK EVERY DETAIL AND TO BE SURE THAT EVERY THING WAS OK THAT DAY.ON MY WEDDING DAY THE PHOTOGRAPHER WAS LATE, SO THE LIMO LEFT AND COULDN'T HAVE MY PICTURES TAKEN. THEY TOOK THE PICTURES WITH MY DAD WHEN THE LIMO CAME IN TO PICK ME UP AT THREE O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING WHEN THE PARTY WAS OVER. I DON'T NEED TO SAY THAT BY THAT TIME I DIN'T HAVE MAKEUP LEFT.THE PHOTOGRAPHER HAD AN BIG OLD CAMERA NON-DIGITAL. MY DAD ASKED HIM HOW OLD WAS THE CAMERA AND THE GUY SAID THAT HE HAD IT FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS. COULD YOU BELIEVE IT? I GOT A PANICK ATTACK WHEN I HEAR THAT. ON ALMOST EVERY PICTURE I HAD MY EYES CLOSED. THEY MAKE ME TO FILL IT OUT A MUST TAKE PHOTO LIST AND WHO WE WANTED IN THEM.THE PHOTOGRAPHER DIDN'T HAVE THAT LIST AND HE NEVER LOOKED AT IT AND PUT THE WHOLE FAMILY TOGETHER. THEY TOLD ME THAT AFTER DINNER THEY WERE GOING TO TAKE ME THE PICTURES AND IN THAT WAY I HAVE MORE TIME TO HAVE FUN BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY DIDN'T DO IT. THE TAKE ME OUT OF THE PARTY A HUNDRED TIMES. BUT I DON'T HAVE NICE PICTURES ON THE CONTRARY. AFTER ALMOST A YEAR OF WAITING I CALLED TO CHECK IF THE DVD WAS READY THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS READY. WHEN I WENT TO THEIR OFFICE THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. SO I WENT TO THE DAVIE OFFICE AND I GET IT FROM THEM. THE PICTURES WAS THE SAME STORY. WHEN I WENT TO GET IT I DIDN'T CHECKED THAT EVERYTHING WAS OK (THE BIG MISTAKE EVER) I SIGN THAT I RECEIVED IT BUT WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICE THAT THE 8X10 PICTURE WAS MISSING AND THE 24X30 PICTURES IT HAD LIKE DOTS ALL OVER. THE PICTURE DIDN'T HAVE QUALITY AT ALL. I THINK THAT WAL-MART HAD MORE QUALITY THAN THEM.I'M TIRE OF TALKING WITH THEM. THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY PROBLEM. THEY ARE AWFUL.WORST EVER! Pros: THEY MAKE ME LOSE MONEY AND TIME! Cons: THEY HAVE NO QUALITY AT ALL. THE PICTURES AND THE STAFF ARE A NIGHTMARE!!!!! NOT RECOMMENDED more

I dont understand why this people are saying such awful things!!! AMA PHOTO AND VIDEO WAS NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL TO ME AND MY HUSBAND.... from the initial appointment to the last pick up i did for my album. Pros: everyone was very attentive at the party and afterwards. more

My experience was horrible to put it politely. When my now husband and I met with the photographer we told him EXACTLY what we were looking for and even brought in samples. We asked that we have many candid (none posing) shots and they said, Sure, fine not a problem. Needless, to say the pictures were NOT at all, what we wanted, I was so disappointed, fortunately, I was able to get pictures from friends and family that were more suitable. The main photographers assistant is useless and impossible to work with. He has NO clue what is going on EVER! Besides all of this, my husband and I moved and had to make special arrangements every time we needed to meet. They were fully aware of this but still disregarded it. One of my appointments (after we purchased plane tickets) was cancelled the day before due a wedding that just popped up! When we were finally able to meet with them, I was expecting to sit down with the main photographer but instead we were passed off to the useless assistant who was NO help! His way of putting an album together was giving me a piece of paper and writing numbers down. If it was that easy, I could have just faxed over a piece of paper. Every one of my friends who I have spoken with told me that their photographer took as much time as needed to sit down with them and put their album together. If you are looking for guidance and leadership, you will not find it here. In addition, I too had the same experience on two occasions of being promised my wedding album on a certain date, made special arrangements to come down and then called me the before and saying, O no it will be another two weeks or so! Do not be fooled by the first meeting because after that is all down hill and you already signed the contract so they have you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Pros: The main photographer (owner) is willing to wokr with you after things go bad. Cons: They do not listen to your needs, they are unprofessional, overall experience is a headache more

I agree with the first review, WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY! Our engagement photos went well and we loved the photographer! When we first sat down with this company after that they advised and required us to fill out a must take photo list and who we wanted in them as to not hurt divorced famililes feelings etc. Come wedding time, the photographer was rude, did not have the list and never looked at it, and put the whole family together, only 10% of the pictures on my MUST TAKE list were taken and many important pictures were never taken at all, this day cannot be brought back so there will be no chance for these pictures again. The photographer kept asking me on my wedding day ""Ummmm what else was on your list"" he put my mom in photos with my dads children from other marriages and many other problems occurred. Some of the pictures he took were good but nothing could fix this mistake. When we discussed our problem with them they simply laughed it off and said our pictures looked great, easy for them to say. Now, like the first review. It has been almost 5 months since the wedding,no pictures or DVD. The DVD has been 14 weeks and we have been told when each due date comes, it will be 2 more weeks. They are blaming there slow service on the fact that the office in Broward was destroyed during the hurricanes and a lot of things were damaged, however our wedding was 5 months after the last hurricane here, WIlma October 2005, so that should have no effect on our things. If our video is not in soon, we will take legal action. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, pick the other photographer they suggest, anything is better than AMA. The photographer was fine the day of the wedding, a little slow at taking pictures, but tolerable. It has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with them since after the wedding. I got married 7 months ago and still have not received my wedding album or DVD. They have made promised on when it will be done and yet to deliver. Everytime we call it is a different story and no one knows what they are talking about. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy!
