Unfriendly Clerk 6/30/2014

We recently visited Fishkill and decided to purchase some chocolates after walking by the shop. The chocolates were outstanding but the selection was so varied I asked the clerk about some of the chocolates. This is where my complaint lies. The clerk was not friendly at all and gave one word answers when asked about the chocolates. It was obvious she was not interested and just wanted us to buy something and leave. I didn't say anything. After we left my brother commented on the clerk and how unfriendly she was, despite my not having commented to him about her. Keep in mind we grew up in Fishkill and had patronized this shop since it opened. The chocolate quality is excellent. The service left much to be desired. more

The Best Candy 4/16/2006

We have been getting our Valentine's candy here for over 20 years, and it is always exceptional quality. Even though we don't go in much more often than once a year the woman always remembers what candies we get, and even the variety that we prefer. Great service, and excellent candy that is a perfect hostess, birthday or any occasion gift. more
