Don't contact them or you will be buried under multiple emails (at least 5 or 6 at once, all different and very amusing indeed) and then a rude or unpleasant sounding Russian-Jewish guy with angry voice (not a problem with nationality whatsoever) will call you and tell you how they have NO IDEA how to deliver your sea container. Despite stating all over their messages that they are so proud to be members of all those unknown-to-the-customer FMC, IAM, AMSA, ERC, FIATA, RIM, AITA and how they deliver door-to-door, when you mention you actually need your container deliver door-to-door, the guy immediately begins questioning you how are you going to deliver your container to your door as he seems to have NO IDEA how it can be done. Then he tells you what you want done is actually very expensive, without even knowing about you and your finances. And then he puts you on hold and forgets about you. And his messages state that they have got an OUTSTANDING (uppercase in red font) service. Beware and avoid! All the positive feedback is allegedly written by himself and his associates. Stay away. more

Disappointed so far, hope the actual move goes fine 11/20/2012

The person that i talked to first said that the actual move can happen on the day that i specified and hence i went with the paperwork even though it said a 2 day window. As i got close to the move date, it was the date prior to my preferred date and that person was trying to convince me saying that he did tell about the window. But no, he did not. I kind of feel that i am betrayed and i am stuck with them since its within 5 days of initla move date and i cannot cancel now (even though i had lot of other moving companies who gave in-home estimates and gave a less estimate and are ready to do it on MY date.) I hate you, all state vanlines...... more

Great Customer Service 7/31/2010

From the moment I got on the phone to the minute the guys left to put my stuff in storage, I knew what was going on. Everything happened exactly as it was scheduled. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, helpful, courteous and well-informed. Moving is never fun or easy, but this is absolutely as good as it gets. I would absolutely use Allstate Van Lines again and I would (and have already) recommend the to anyone who asks and to all judysbook users!!!!! Thank you. more

My moving experience with Allstate Van Lines was AMAZING!!! The guys were so nice. They treated all of my items with extra care. If anyone wants to move anywhere this company is the one you want. *** PS... Request MANNY, ELMER, & ARLIN. They are the BEST at what they do. You won't be dissappointed!!! more

My Move with Allstate Van Lines went very well. It was not easy decision to choose what company to use as there are so many of them and there are so many awful stories on the internet about this industry. After some research I did decide to use Allstate Van Lines and was happy with the choice. Allstate Van Lines were prompt with their answers to me before, during and after the move. I always got an answer even when my representative was not available there was always somebody else that could help me. The movers were great as well and performed a professional work. I would defiantly recommend them to anybody that I know for their move. more

Honest business 7/26/2010

We have now moved 2 times with Allstate Van Lines in the last 3 years and moved our daughter and her family as well and all 3 moves were nearly flawless with the exception of a few minor damages to some boxes that got crushed while in transit but have since been paid for by insurance. While we are not review writers we felt inclined to post a review for this company due to the quality of service they provided for us and our family members for their moves and for showing honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Our daughter’s move was estimated higher than it actually was and they deducted money off her balance on the delivery end and while it was not a huge amount it was still less money in the end. Our drivers and movers were all very clean, quick, careful, and most of all professional and our estimator was the same for all moves, Eric and he showed nothing less than determined to satisfy his clients by responding to emails, phone calls and every question we had during these moves. We would like to recommend this company on behalf our family for the moves well done. more

Good experiance 7/25/2010

I recently used Allstate Van Lines for move my entire home within Bay Area. Not only were they very helpful when I had first called, but also did a wonderful job of making my move stress free and just a great day. They showed up early and finished early as well. Everyone is very polite... and most importantly careful, strong and fast... Not one problem at all! I will recommend you to my friends. more

I was very happy with my experience with Allstate Van Lines. Excellent customer support pre-move. Vlad came to scope the job and when he left I felt confident that I would be ready for moving day and survive the experience. The day of the move the crew was a little later than I expected, but when they got there they were organized, efficient, friendly, and most helpful at managing some of the odds-and-ends that appear as a house empties. The final accounting was totally transparent, the clock started when the crew arrived at my door, the transportation fee was a set price based on the distances, not time on the road. The 5% discount for cash was nice and I ended up paying well under the company's estimate. I recommend Allstate Van Lines as a reasonably priced (and no hidden fees) mover that also provides great customer support. more

To Allstate Van Lines: During our 3 different loadings and unloading, your moving staff were exceptional and extremely understanding of how much stress we were under. I want to give them the highest rating possible and dearly hope your management staff pays them what they are really worth, which is to say the top dollar for their category of labor. It takes more than strength to accomplish what they do, it takes cooperation, patience, and intelligence to work through sudden problems. Your crew director, Alex was exceptional and very helpful. Please know we are very thankful we had these two crews and the same director for the two events. more

I am sending this message to let you all know how pleased I was with my move with Allstate Van Lines. Although the company came highly recommended I felt some trepidation. However, my hesitancy began to dissolve when things unfolded. Everything went as planned. The entire move was smooth from beginning to end. I'd like to commend the crew-they are an asset to the company. I could not have asked for a better group of young men. I was especially impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of the foreman. I recommend Allstate Van Lines moving without hesitation. I will use them again when I return to Cali in a year or two. more

Outstanding! 7/15/2010

I've moved at least 10 times in my 40+ years in Dallas and this was by far my best move ever. Rick and his team of 3 - I got an extra guy for free - hit the ground running and had stuff flying out of the old place while I was still looking for a way to prop the door open. i was amazed at how efficiently everything was loaded and unloaded. The guys were extremely courteous and respectful. Rick has a great sense of humor and had his guys hustling to keep up with him. Excellent Moving company 7/13/2010

The moving team was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. I ended up having to move much more than I had originally planned, and they did it with no problem or hesitancy. My entire studio apartment was cleared out in less than an hour and they were ready to go right afterwards. They even got to my new apartment before I did (really fast!). Everyone I spoke with on the Allstate Van Lines - Long distance movers in Dallas, TX, from the first person I called, to the person who called me to confirm the move, to the movers -- everyone was so polite and friendly, and ever so helpful. I will definitely use them for my next move and will highly recommend to anyone I know who needs movers. They made my move a heck of a lot less stressful. They were on time, friendly, helpful, and took great care to move my larger and delicate items. Thank you so much! more

I would like to commend Allstate Van Lines - Long distance movers in Dallas, TX for their expertise in my recent move from Atlanta,GA to Dallas,TX. The movers were prompt, informative, courteous and professional. Extreme care was taken to insure my belongings were transported safely.
