Back in 1995 I began treatment for severe depression. I was shocked at how attentive Jeff Allman was. Not only did he listen....he remembered things I'd talk about. I was a basket case to say the least and was seeing a shrink also. When Jeff Allman could tell I was simply addicted to the medicine he dropped me as his client. Before you say that was horrible read further. Jeff knew my biggest thing was rejection. The day after he stated he would no longer counsel me I admitted myself into the hospital. Once I was receiving help to come off the meds Jeff Allman picked up counseling me again. He did wonders and to be honest I feel he saved my life. The other review states Jeff Allman was obviously in a bad mood, etc. First off Jeff Allman is a person with a life of his own. Correct me if I'm wrong but everyone has a bad day. As for sarcasm or mocking-----maybe it was simply a technique used to make this person stop and think. Counceling is not a place to hear that you are right about everything....in fact sometimes we end up in counceling due to things we have done wrong. Do I recommend Jeff Allman? Yes I do. Who am I and why should you listen to mine over the other review?? In 1995 channel ten did a story on counseling and I was the poster child so to speak-----that would have never ocurred had I not had Jeff Allman as my counselor.
