Alliance Transmissions

I took my car to a repair place in Fallbrook, and they told me I needed a completely new transmission. I took it to Alliance Transmission for a second opinion, and they let me know that it was only a broken spring. It only cost $240 instead of $4,000. My car works perfectly now. They are obviously honest and are not going to cheat you. more

I have used Alliance Transmission and Auto Repair twice now. This last time, they replaced my alternator. It was a good experience. They are honest and straightforward, and I appreciate that. They tell you what work really needs to be done and what doesn't need to be done. They also are accommodating time-wise. I would recommend them. more

This was my first time using Alliance Transmission. I came across them on the internet and they had a lot of reviews. I was looking for a mechanic, I took a chance, and it worked out. They did not overcharge. They sold me what I needed and nothing more. I am very satisfied with the work. I first went to Alliance Transmission and Auto Repair 16 or 17 years ago when another transmission shop told my wife that our vehicle needed a transmission rebuild and gave her a business card for a towing company. I couldn't tell if the problem was really the transmission, so I took it to Alliance. Ray drove, tested, and serviced our vehicle, and said that nothing was wrong with the transmission. That transmission lasted us another year and half. It went out precipitously the night before my wife was going to be driving through the mountains with young children in the car. We took it to Alliance at 8 a.m. that morning and my wife was on the road by 5 p.m. Ray turned it around that quickly and it was a fantastic rebuild. When I sold the vehicle 4 or 5 years later, the transmission was still running strong. The people who bought it had the transmission checked out and said it was in exceptional shape. In the years that I have used Alliance Transmission and Auto Repair, I have had my car in there 2 or 3 times with problems that I thought were the transmission. Ray has always told me when it was not the transmission and he has fixed the problem. They are extremely honest and confident at Alliance. I am a very demanding customer and could not recommend any business more highly than Alliance based on my extensive experiences with them. I've used them several times. I think Ray has rebuilt four transmissions for me on four different cars, they've all been great. His competence and good service keeps me coming back to him. If there's ever any problem, there's usually very amenable to taking care of whatever it is. Like sometimes, a new transmission can operate differently than the old one. Ray's the owner, his technicians do the work. They're all pleasant, good people, very trustworthy, very honest, easy to work with, and they get things done when they say. This latest job was probably the most expensive transmission job, and it was done in two days. I've recommended a number of people to Alliance over the years. I've lived in the area more than 30 years. That's the only place I recommend people to go. more

My normal mechanic told me to take my car to alliance transmissions (behind arby's) when my transmission went out. He told me they were the best, but I asked around anyway. They were the best price and very nice on the phone- so in I went. \r Once there, they took really good care of me- informing me along the way of what was going on and giving me a great deal on the price.
