I have been using this kennel for over 20 years to board my cats, and up until recently it has been highly satisfactory, with clean, spacious and imaginative cat cages. Unfortunately, the physical plant is not adequate for the present volume of customers. Only one customer at a time is allowed in their tiny anteroom, due to concerns about dogs getting into fights with dogs of other owners in the cramped space. People are compelled to stand outside while waiting for dog deposits and retrievals. A crowd can gather in front of the building with no organized way to decide who is next in line. Clearly, this is inconvenient, frustrating, and unhealthy when the weather is inclement - precipitating or hot/humid. The inconvenience can be compounded by a dog owner in the anteroom who happens to be a ""talker"", as happened to me this summer. I waited for 15 minutes outside the door, holding a cat cage, during the extended conversation between the dog owner and the kennel personnel. A waiting room large enough to separate dogs and to accommodate a reasonably long waiting line is essential, and missing, here.
