**There are signs all over this salon offering free gift certs to people that post positive comments online* After my divorce my hair suffered, finances, time, as a single mom I neglected myself, felt very unattractive it was a ponytail most days, when I did my hair it looked great but I needed a freshen up. I was excited to get a Groupon, my plan, trim & freshen up highlights. When Allen asked what I wanted I impulsively asked “what would u suggest?” He began to talk about my damaged hair, he showed a pic of a very short cut & made a great argument this was THE haircut for me, I was shocked, at the same time I was excited I would soon feel pretty again. I was so unsure, I texted pic to my boyfriend, I LOVED the idea of looking great but cut off my hair? I wasn't getting an answer, can we start color & think about the cut, he said No & stood very impatiently waiting for an answer, feeling the pressure I said ok instantly hair was on the floor I don’t know what happened moments after entering the salon all my hair was falling. Then he said the best option was very short bangs (different from pic) at this point I felt 100% trust was best. I went in with long blonde hair, left with one inch red & yellow striped hair& bangs that little kids get when they get gum stuck. I was in shock, I kept telling myself I had to get used to it. At the register I was SHOCKED to be charged $75 on top of the $65 groupon I already paid. I was there to save money & was paying more than I ever did?! Its 3 wks & no one likes it!! On the phone he told me "stop taking your personal problems out on me" & hung up! The cut is horrible on me, all my wrinkles completely visable, big ears sticking out. Any hairstylist that considered a client a person, not just a head of hair would have seen I was unsure I am so mad at myself! . I have cancelled plans, bought hats, wig, color redone twice& researchingextensions. All things I can’t afford!!! My advice take your time with new style & STAY AWAY FROM ALLEN MAY!
