Great Clinic! 3/24/2010

I have taken my 2 dogs to this vet quite a few times for boarding for the past 4 years and have used them only once for shots and heartworm medication.\r \r The first time I walked through their front door I was very impressed at the cleaniness and great smell of the clinic. Unlike other clinics in the area their clinic has a fresh clean scent when you walk through the doors. If you didn't know they were a vet clinic you would definitely not figure it out by the smell.\r \r As far as the staff, they have always been very friendly to me and my pets and have cared very well for them. They do everything possible to make you and your pets feel comfortable. I was shocked, the first time after leaving my 2 dogs boarding for two weeks, at how happy and clean they were. I also brought their bedding and bowls and all were returned to me very clean.\r \r Also when you leave your pets with them they have you fill out a feeding schedule chart and they try to keep them on that same schedule so your pet doesn't experience to many changes on their stay there. Furthermore, they give them a pill that kills all possible fleas tor ticks that may be on your pets at the time of arrival. This ensures that no pets will spread bugs to any other pets. So you leave with the peace of mind that when you get your babies back they will be clean and bug free.\r \r I have a standard poodle/boarder collie mix who suffers from seperation anxiety and he has always felt comfortable walking into the clinic on his own. He has never been stessed or nervous when I get him back. He acts almost exactly as he does when I'm gone to work all day and finally return home.\r \r All I can say is that this clinic has been really great with me and my babies. Yes, they are a little more expensive then other places but I wouldn't trust my dogs in anyone elses care. Pros: Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff, Very Clean Cons: A little bit more pricy than other vets in the area more

Handy, but scary. 10/6/2008

I only visited this vet once, so my opinion is based on a 5 minute phone call and the visit.\r I was living in Cabot at the time, and my regular vet was closed every Tuesday.\r I had ran out of heartworm preventatives (Hartguard) and called every vet in Cabot, Jacksonville and Sherwood to find a vet that could sell me a pack of the chews. This is the ONLY vet that would sell them to a dog who wasn't a regular patient. I at first thought that was extremely polite. The girls understood my problem and were more than willing to take my cash (they don't accept debit or credit cards).\r First, they are handy and nice. Very polite.\r I later told my vet about it and he was very upset. Not because he lost 5 dollars in profit, but because it was so irresponsible of the office to do. Every vet knows that if a dog has heart worms in advanced stages, the preventative can possibly cause death. It made sense why the other vets all wanted either a copy of my dogs heartworm test (which was at my normal vet) or to give a heartworm test first.\r My dogs were fine and heartworm free since I use the chews year round, but this vet had no way of knowing that. I suggest you go to a vet where they are more knowledgable than this vet appeared to be. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Parking on gravel lot (bad for car), no Debit or Credit cards, staff displayed lack of basic knowledge more

All For Pets 7/23/2008

Very good clinic. The staff is required to take courses to better their knowledge of caring for your pets. The surgery is a little more expensive there, but that is because the are the only clinic in the area that uses a laser, which is safer for your pets, and cuts down on recovery time. more

Classy Clinic! 7/20/2008

I have used All For Pets for several years. When my puppy swallowed a bat and had not had his rabies shot yet, they made all kinds of contacts to find out what I needed to do to ensure he would not get rabies. The staff is friendly, and obviously, they are quite helpful, too. more
