I have never been afraid of the dentist until I learned that I was going to get my wisdom teeth taken out. I wasn't sure what my options were before coming in the day of the procedure, but I was certainly shaking and turning blue with fear. \r \r Dr. Orlov immediately took heed to my discomfort and although it pushed the schedule back an hour, he made sure he did everything necessary (with medication) to get me to relax and by the time the procedure started/finished, I was a happy camper. Not to mention, his assistant was very sweet, reassuring and a jokester who made me laugh throughout my initial nervousness.\r \r Even before this wisdom teeth ordeal, I got a sense that Dr. Orlov is a sincere/real dentist. When I first got my check up and we addressed the issues that I had, he gave me a true sense of what was necessary and immediate vs. what was not urgent/could be addressed later. I never got the feeling that he was trying to rip me off (like I've experienced in other dental offices) or make up problems that did not exist. \r \r My 7 year-old also goes there and he loves it. They were so careful with him and everytime I go there, they ask how he is doing. \r \r I really feel like I am visiting family when I come to All Dental Center. \r \r I know they aren't always bubbly/fake and maybe that comes off as rude. But I know they get the job done right and always respond to my needs. \r \r I don't see myself going anywhere else as long as I am in Boston!\r more

I went into All Dental for the first time in the fall of 2009. Serge Orlov was my dentist and he was incredibly helpful and upfront about what I needed to get done. I tend to have trouble with cavities and knew that I had one or two. Dr. Orlov was able to fill these cavities and reassure me that I would not have to get these cavities refilled for another twenty years. He was very personable and often made sure that I was doing okay throughout the filling process. I also loved the fact that I was able to watch TV throughout the whole process so that I wasn't bored. Finally, he was willing to give me free products and small gifts such as a Starbucks gift card so that I could buy something to drink after he filled my cavities. I avoided treating a huge abcess for 9 years due to fear of the dentist. Finally, afraid that it was affecting my overall health, I decided to seek treatment through sedation dentistry. Fortunately I met Dr Serge Orlov. He explains every step of the way, paying full attention to the patients comfort and anxiety level. I can honestly say I no longer have a fear of the dentist. I've been receiving dental care at All Dental Center since February, 2007. From my first meeting with Dr. Serge Orlov I was impressed with professionalism, honesty, compassion and the way he treats his patients.He is so professional and patient doctor!My mouth was required a lot of work and I 'm so happy with the work Dr. Orlov has done!!! He went above and beyond to make that experience comfortable and healthy! Thank you for the smile, Dr. Orlov!!! They know how much it sucs to go to the dentist and they are out to change that perception. When I went in for a root-canal and a filling, was in the chair for hours, due to patient amenities it seemed a lot shorter. \r \r Dr. Orlov is a perfectionist, which is a good thing for me. Yes, the office is nice (flat screen tvs) and the staff is intelligent and friendly, but the overall practice is so unprofessional it is almost humorous. I had an appt for a cleaning around 8:30 a.m. one day....after waiting for 20 mins, the secretary informed me that the dentist FORGOT that she had a cleaning that morning and wouldn't be in. On another occassion, I went to Dr. Orlov with severe TMJ pain (he's a specialist in that)...he literally told me that I should go get an image of my brain (scan) to make sure I don't have a tumor...""just to be on the safe side""....he then finished my ""consultation-sales pitch"" by recommending $40k veneers to fix my bite because it was causing the severe pain and also mentioned that I could get braces because he's going to school for that. I left the office that day petrified that I was going to die from a brain tumor. My PCP even laughed when I told her, she was shocked, but she gave me the referral for the scan and I'm fine - no tumor. Lastly, I have always had regular cleanings and occassionally a cavity from time to time. All Dental Center is the only dentist that has told me I have 4 cavities at one time, i was shocked, i've never been told that...it was either a lie b/c they want money or a bad coincidence, i guess that's the chance you have to take when/if you go there. Oh, they also charge $100 if you miss an appointment...but say ""sorry"" when the dentist FORGETS to show up to clean your teeth. I have switched to Gentle Dental. I had an exam and was informed that I have no cavities...and they didn't try to sell me veneers or braces. Weird, huh? Pros: the staff is friendly Cons: but the practice is overall very unprofessional and SELL, SELL, SELL!!! more
