Our downstairs furnace started shutting 3/20/2012

Our downstairs furnace started shutting off in the middle of the night, meaning waking up to a freezing house in the January! We called on another company (who had installed our furnaces and had come out before for a similar problem with our upstairs furnace two years earlier), and long story short, the technician asked us to get a paperclip, stretch it out, and stick it into this hole to clear some dust. He charged $85 and said that if that didn't work, it might be a pressure switch problem that would cost approx $400 to fix, plus another $85 diagnostic cost plus labor the next time. We decided to get a second opinion and called All About Air. While it took a few visits, we were only charged the $80 diagnostic charge ONCE (not per visit like the other guys), Lenny and his team were super quick at responding and just from the first visit, cleaned out the drain pipe, insulated the pipes for both furnaces and didn't charge us for that. P.S. insulating the pipes actually fixed our previous problem with our upstairs furnace that the other guys had told us would cost hundreds of dollars. When we determined that the insulation and cleaning the pipe was not the problem, Lenny told us the pressure switch was the problem. When I asked how much it would cost, he said nothing as my furnace was under warranty. The other guys, who installed the furnace were still going to charge us...sketchy, dishonest! At the end of all this, we will only use All About Air. Lenny and his crew are the experts, are just all around nice guys, and are honest! Their diagnostics went from the bottom all the way up to the attic just to make sure the entire furnace set-up was fine. The other guys just sat in front of the furnace and did not check anything else. I also loved that they educated me all along the way, explaining what they were doing and even teaching me how to maintain the furnace better. more

Great Guys! 8/15/2011

All About Air installed a great system and is very quite. We choose a 16 Seer American Standard system...American Standard is the exact same system as Trane heat pumps. Lenny and is crew was very professional and answered all my question. The best part of this install was that we received three bids and Lenny's was the least of all of them. What more can you ask for... great service and and great price. If you choose All About Air don't forget to ask about the PUD rebate program...we received $750.00. Steve more

We Care...About Your Air

Owner Message
  • There's a lot about indoor air quality that you might not know and certainly can't see. Up to 72 trillion microscopic irritants, or allergens, find their way into your home every day. They include dust, pollen, pet hair and dander, dust mites, mildew, lint, fungus, most tobacco smoke, cooking grease and bacteria. Many of these particles are so small that your nose and throat can't filter them out, and they can get deep into your lungs.
Breathe easier with American Standard's AccuClean air filtration system -- it removes 99.98% of particles and allergens from the air in your home. AccuClean is 100 times more effective than conventional 1" throw-away filters and ionic room appliances.
Choosing an American Standard air conditioner or heat pump with an Energy Star logo is an important step to saving money on your utility bills--along with consuming less energy. What can you expect from a unit carrying the Energy Star logo? Air conditioners or heat pumps that have this symbol are at least 20 percent more efficient than the federal government's current efficiency standard. Purchasing an American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning unit with the Energy Star label ensures that you're getting the highest efficiency available. Be sure to ask your American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning dealer about local incentives that are offered by many utility companies and financial institutions for the purchase of Energy Star products..
