My family has used this Company on several occasions and I recommended the Company to our Church. Our Church used this Company to move quite a variety of items. They arrived as expected, move the items, were polite, courteous and helpful. We were more than pleased with the move and would call them again without hesitation. more

Unbelievable,Unprofessional, Unacceptable and Insulting. I hired this company to do what should have been a simple move. They were hired to move an electric hospital bed, bedside table and a night stand. I had agreed to their 3 hour minimum for a move that would only take about 1 1/2 hours at the most. I needed these items delivered to an elderly relative who was discharged from the hospital earlier that morning. Shortly after the drivers had left I discovered a vital part of the bed was left on my front porch. This was a key support element required for safety. I had contacted the company and informed the man that answered the phone of the incident. After explaning the situation I was asked if the part that was left behind would fit into a car. I said yes. I was then told to deliver it myself. I was then over talked, cut off, told I was unreasonable and hung up on. I received no apology for their screw-up. What was unreasonable was to pay $392.00 for a 3 hour minimum and to be told after an hour worth of work it was unreasonable for them to pick up this part or deliver it later. After a 30 minute cool down I called back and asked for the owner's name and phone number. I was told by the guy on the phone he had taken my call earlier and that he was the owner. When I asked his name he said Anthony. Again, no apology or resolution. \r I strongly advise that you do not use this company. I wished I had read more reviews before hiring Alexander's Movers. more

I have used this company several times with minimal problems. On my last move (Apr 2011) several pieces of my property were damaged. I had to write many emails, make phone calls, send pics, and jump through a lot of hoops to get some justice. Ultimately, 2 out of 3 of my items were addressed. There is still damage to my total gym and they refused to do anything about that. I contemplated suing for damages but my mother took ill and I was too involved with her care to bother with Alexander movers. My mother recently died and I'm just now getting back to my life. I really resent that during such a stressful time in my life they made it even harder for me. They have officially lost a great customer. more

I scheduled a move between 8am and 9am. At 9:15am I called to see where they were because they called at 7:30am to let me know they were leaving- I wanted to make sure they weren't lost. Their response was a list of excuses. They claim the 8am-9am time is when they LEAVE the dock not when they get there(which is not what was indicated when I scheduled the move). They also mentioned something about them having to get gas (should not account for being over an hour late), then they threw a fit because they didn't know there was going to be an elevator (even though it's on the 21st floor and that was indicated when I made the original appointment) and saying that because the move is from 40 miles away they cannot be accountable for times (yes I know its 40 miles away, I?m paying them to drive there). Because of their tardiness, my day is thrown off . When I expressed this they were EXTREMELY rude and threatened to cancel the move. more

First, the owners' name is not young it's Mr. Alexander!I'm getting ready to use them again. They moved me about twenty years ago to my first house, now they're going to move me to my second house. They moved 2 of my friends in the last 6 months and both of them were very satified. Pros: Great Service most of my friends use this company Cons: No drawbacks more

I have used Alexander Movers several times in the past, and can honestly say, they provide exceptional service. They are polite, timely, and are true to their word in terms of price. They are licensed, bonded and insured, and you will definitely benefit from their expertise, and will understand why they are leaders in their field. I highly recommend using this company for any of your moving needs. more

Lie about rates. Owner Mr. Young is terrible to his staff and to his customers. Not worth the money or the trouble of doing business with this company. I am in the process of filing an official complaint with the Consumer Services. Cons: Owner of company is a liar and not a professional. A three room apartment took 8 hours. more
