Alex Kaplan & Two Wedding Photographers did an amazing job with our wedding photos. Jasmine, Hani and Julian were our two photographers and videographer. I cannot say enough good words about this team. First of all Jasmine was amazing. From the moment she arrived on site, she felt more like a friend then a wedding vendor. Her personality blended well with our wedding party. She took control of everything and told us exactly what to do and where to go in order to capture amazing memories of our wedding. The team did an amazing job capturing all of the spectacular moments of our wedding, therefore giving us wonderful memories to look back on. In addition, they listened to any suggestions, requests, and they did their job ""quietly."" They were always professional and I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a great photographer/videographer. ... more

Excellent! A 3/19/2012

\r \r Feb. 4, 2012 - Words cannot describe how beautiful my wedding pictures are and how pleased I was with Alex Kaplan. His eye and artistic sense are incredible. He managed to capture moments and emotion from our day that I will forever treasure. In addition to the stunning photographs, Alex and his assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with. They both showed up an hour early to be sure they would be prepared when it was time to begin shooting. I had asked them specifically to take a great deal of pictures of my nephew and nieces. They were able to catch excellent images of both kids. Alex did a wonderful job of taking all the right pictures, but still blending in and not becoming the focus of the room. Within one week, Alex sent me and email with the link to our web album and we received our disk of the images shortly after. I was able to forward the link to all my friends and they could immediately enjoy the pictures too. I would recommend Alex to anyone who is in the process of planning their weddings, as I truly do feel that they made our wedding even more special that I could have ever imagined. more

Great photos! Fair and comfortable! 2/29/2012

I had been in contact with several other photographers to take headshots for a comp card for my daughter. I was in limbo and couldn't make a decision until I spoke with Alex Kaplan. He was fair from the beginning. Not trying to fit us into a 'package deal' but customizing what we needed with a price we could afford. He was patient and waited for me to make a decision about booking our photo shoot, and then was even more patient with our 7 year old daughter. He made her so comfortable, that her favorite part of the whole experience was not the photo's she got, but the posing and getting her photos done by Alex. Our favorite part was watching her enjoy herself in such a comfortable studio setting that Alex has set up, and then the very best part was her pictures!! Not only did Alex have the photos uploaded and sent to me the very same night, but he continued to stay in contact with me until I was happy with my comp card for my daughter. With someone else, I may have felt like I was a pain, but he made it okay to ask questions and make changes. At the end, the pictures are great and we would highly recommend Alex for any type of photography job! We will likely use him again ourselves! more

Great Experience and Awesome Pics 2/12/2012

Alex Kaplan and his team were cordial and professional throughout the entire process – from when we first met, up until and through our wedding day. Even after the fact, Alex was extremely patient as we decided on the final photos for our album.\r \r The pictures themselves came out beautiful and every moment of the day was captured – so we are able to “relive” the experience time and again. I found Alex searching online and I was extremely impressed. He managed to capture so many special moments while somehow blending in behind the scenes. We really appreciate how quickly he turnaround the photos - and video. He made everything fun and relaxed, and the photos were unique. I still can't believe how great the pricing was. Hiring Alex Kaplan to shoot my wedding was one of the best choices I made for the event! Alex came highly recommended by a family friend. My wedding, which was October 9, 2011, was an amazing day. The right photographer definitely made the difference! Alex and his partner Jackie were extremely professional with just the right touch of friendly and obliging. They took every photo I requested and went out of the way to make sure they had gotten all the shots I wanted. They added their expertise in all the right places; placing my now husband and I in front of the most beautiful, picturesque backdrop and making us look amazing on our special day. I have beautiful photos to commemorate the most important day of my life so far, and I have Alex Kaplan and Two Wedding Photographers to thank for that!!! more

Awesome Photography! 10/24/2011

After suddenly needing a photographer just a few months before our wedding, I was in a frantic search online for a photographer that was modern, artistic and reasonably priced. I stumbled upon Alex's website and was immediately impressed with his sample portfolios. I loved his photojournalism shots as well as the posed portraits. It was so convenient to do everything via email, I never even met Alex until just a few minutes before walking down the aisle. Alex and his partner were prompt and very professional. We received our web album in a timely manner with almost 1000 photographs! Our pictures have turned out amazing, there is literally not a single moment left not captured. They are artistic, original and just simply stunning. I have no idea how I will possibly choose what to print. I would recommend Two Wedding Photographers to anyone who is looking for top-quality, high style, reasonable priced photography! You certainly will not be disappointed! more

Excellent Photographer 10/12/2011

We chose Alex Kaplan Photography for our wedding on September 10, 2011. In the planning process he worked with our budget to come up with a great package that met our expectations. The day of the wedding Alex notified us that he was unable to attend due to a family emergency. We were nervous, but when his replacement Marissa and partner showed up they were wonderful. They shot over 1000 shots. I love candid photos and some of the moments they caught were so special. I am very pleased with Alex Kaplan and would highly recommend them as a wedding photographer. more

Fabulous Photography 10/10/2011

I was nervous about using a photographer not recommended by someone I knew, but I needed someone affordable...I made a GREAT choice. I got way more for my money than I ever could've expected. My special day was captured beautifully in the almost 900 pictures that were taken!! The photographers were professional and fun...I highly recommend Alex Kaplan Photography! more

A Caring Professional =) 9/29/2011

We booked Alex to shoot our wedding but unfortunately he experienced a family emergency the night before and was unable to be there himself. He sent Joanna, a partner of his, and the day couldn't have been more wonderful. Her professionalism and down to earth personality really fit the day. We were disappointed that Alex was pulled away but he did everything in his power to make sure our day did not suffer because of his absence. We got some amazing photos that truly captured the mood of our special day. Alex even offered us a retouched print as a thank you for our understanding of the last minute change! Alex Kaplan is a caring professional. We can't thank him enough. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone =) more

One hell of a great photographer! 9/12/2011

I've had my photos taken many times by many photographers. This time it was the charm. Alex was able to capture exactly what I wanted to get for my website and headshots. He is more than a photographer, he is a visual artist and he is passionate about getting you the look you want. He was patient and he understood the many types of looks I needed as an entertainer and magician. There are many people with very expensive cameras out there who just take pictures. To Alex, the camera is tool and he knows his tools well, but he also knows the way to move you in just the right way, using the light, and making the photos special. Usually I expect maybe one or two photos from a shoot that I can use. I was amazed at the I had about 10 that I know I will use! I highly recommend Alex. I will be using him again for my next photo session! more

Amazing Photographer 9/2/2011

Alex Kaplan and Jasmine photographed our wedding! Their reasonable pricing and flexible packages were just what we were looking for. They were punctual and very friendly. They also worked very well with our other vendors! \r Our pictures came out beautifully. It was a perfect mix of photojournalistic and traditional photos, exactly what we were looking for. Within two weeks, a preview of our photos were already posted to Alex's website! Within three weeks, all were posted. I keep scrolling through them, I can't help it! Everyone keeps commenting on how beautiful they are. It is also really convenient for our guests to pick and purchase pictures right from his website! \r We also used Alex's photobooth! What a hit! My guests (and I) loved it!! The pictures are priceless and the scrapbook that they made is something that will be looked at for years to come!\r I would most certainly recommend Alex Kaplan and Jasmine! \r A+ from my husband and I!!\r more
