Ordered take out from Alcamos last night. (8/21/12) The salad was not fresh, lettuce brown on the edges, carrots were dry and no tomatoes. Portion size was small for a manicotti dinner and meatballs had no flavor. Over the past few years I have noticed prices going up and portion size going down. The worst dinner ever and not going back again. more

Best Tomato Pie! 10/10/2010

I was here for the first time a few months ago. I'm a bit of a food snob, and super picky about Italian food....so I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem!! I had lasagna and it was home-made...enormous and piping hot! The house salad is a perfect blend as well. I'm a huge coffee drinker and the coffee was delish! So, as if it couldn't get any better.....I had the tomato pie last week....I'm a Corropolese girl from way back, but OMG..you gotta try Alcamos hot tomato pie. YUMMY! The crust is cooked perfect and the sauce is mouth-watering. What an overall great place!! more

they are a great pizza resturant,like being down home kind of earth.honest people and friendly,when you order dinner or what ever it may be you get what you pay for and then some.there is no other place around like it.anyone who hasn't tried alcamo's has too,its worth traveling for. Alcamo's has the best pizza and their dinners are very good. Lasagne is excellent and portions are more than one person can eat. Definitely recommend for a casual dinner. Pros: Great food Cons: Small dining area with a lot of take-out traffic more

Vinny named his restaurant after the hometown of his parents who emigrated from Sicily. There is a mural on the walls of the restaurant depicting scenes from the town of Alcamo which was painted by local artist Lorenzo. The love of family and passion for cooking is the drive behind the opening of this restaurant. At Alcamo, customers can enjoy a fine Italian meal influenced by the generations of old family recipes as well as a large variety of pizza, steak sandwiches, hoagies, and much more.
