never, never, never, again, been to Alaska tire because they are close to the house and put up with their BS for the convenience, but from now on I'd rather drive to Fairbanks to have my tire work done, poor attitude, poor service, poor prices, I give them till the end of 2014 to stay in business\r the simplest thing is a ordeal, they are solely built to prey on the ignorant, if you know what you want and just need something quick it turns into a 4 hour ordeal, never, never, never more

Alaska Tire Service has terrible customer service. I've tried going there twice now and have been disappointed both times. They're rude to customers and always act as if you're inconveniencing them. In addition, you can never make appointments in advance. You have to call the morning of and wade through hours of busy signals before you finally get through. They're reasonably priced, but believe me- it's worth your money to go elsewhere! I have definitely switched my loyalties and will not longer be using Alaska Tire Service. more

Poor Attitude 5/25/2011

I just picked up my SUV after Alaska Tire Service installed 4 new tires. I noticed that they hadn't washed the blue coating off of the white sidewall lettering. So I asked them to wash it off. To my surprise they refused and not at all politely. The response I got was ""I'm not a car wash I'm a tire shop"". A tire shop with no pride in their work or customer service. This concerns me for any future dealings I have to have with them. I am not looking forward to it; hopefully I have no trouble with the tires. I would not recomend them to anyone based on my first 10 minutes of experience. more

Only place i have trusted my vehicle with and i'm picky 9/22/2008

I have been going throught this place for years. It started off i bought a truck from some dealer years ago... I brang it to them to change the tires. Come to find out the dealer had the wrong tire on my truck..They had car tires on it instead of truck tires. This truck is a heavy duty k-2500 ..If i would had of looked myself i would of noticed this. I hadnt had much money left to buy new tires for it because i spent a hefty chunk of money in cash in this truck... Matt was kind enough to buy my crappy tires and give me a good deal on new ones.
