Al Meyer Ford

Due to the COVID-19 situation, I was trying to limit interaction as much as possible and Jarell Westbrook with Al Meyer Ford (now Lufkin ford) exceeded my expectations. I had been looking to trade in my 2017 Chevrolet Traverse with 118800 Miles on it but no one wanted to give me more than 10,000$ for it which left me still owing 6600$ on it. Therefore I couldn't get financed because I was so far upside down. Jarell reached out to me and I told him the situation. He was very patient and NOT pushy throughout the process of waiting for an answer from my credit union and such. They were able to give me 3000$ more for my trade in than anyone else AND get me the extended 100,000 mile warranty, while still keeping the car at the MSRP value so I could get it financed. He was also able to do pretty much EVERYTHING over the phone so when I got to the dealership all I had to do was sign the dealerships paperwork and I was DONE. That was GREAT because I hate wearing the mask for a long time... LOL I was pleased to see that all of the employees at the dealership were wearing masks though. I got a 2020 Ford Fusion SE Ecoboost and so far I LOVE it. When I decided to see what Al Meyer Ford had to offer I had already given up hopes on being able to get financed and trade in my traverse. Silsbee Hyundai even told me that I was not eligible for the rebates or discounts if I financed thru my credit union instead of them.. So I was pretty much DONE. I will in the future return to Lufkin ford. more

I always find that they treat us like family. I actually enjoy buying my cars there. I know my sapesperson very well and she remembers us at all the holidays and always checks in on us. more

We purchased a new vehicle here a few years ago. Although they were really nice, we got a great deal & awesome interest rate, they were really pushy. I felt hassled constantly being watched and asked if I could be helped at least 5-10x's. It was a little ridiculous only because you knew they just wanted to make commission and were doing it selfishly, not really wanting to help you or your sake. Anyway, we enjoyed the vehicle and once we drove off the lot were happy. more

We just took our car here to have the repairs done cause thats who our insurance company uses and they were closest to our house. They did a decent job on our car but it took them 3 weeks to get it done. Which I thought was completely insane and when we would call to find out when our car might be done, they kept changing the date on us. We are still having problems with our car. Plus when I got my car back there was so much dust in it that my allergies were going completely haywire. I had to clean it out, which they should have cleaned all the dust out for us, especially since the last day they had it, was suppose to be for cleaning and what not. I'm a little disappointed in them. God forbid we ever get in another wreck but if we do, I don't think I will be taking my car back to Al Meyer Ford. more

We have bought one SUV from this company, and we use it to service two vehicles, i.e. oil changes, tire rotation, etc. . Our salesman, Alex, was very courteous, and the service team has been as well. Most repair work is done in a reasonable amount of time. Rental cars are available as needed.The company is also involved in community activities. more
