Al Capri

I'm not sure where that last person is from, but I am originally from New York and I can't find true New York style pizza like that anywhere else! It is a true neighborhood pizza shop. On my first visit the owners talked with me personally and I was able to watch my pizza being made. I have never received such personalized attention from the owners anywhere else. I have been back several times and their new specials are awesome! They remember my name and ask about how I'm doing. They have a lobster ravioli that makes the mouth water. I look forward to the chef/owners latest creations. I recommended this restaurant to all my friends! Pros: excellent food, excellent service Cons: sometimes my friends have a hard time finding it because it is back from the road. more

Al Capri is a great addition to chain-restaurant-heavy Mansell Rd. The owners are frequently your wait staff, and are very solicitous hosts. The garlic-herb foccacia is fabulous - a chewy and buttery garlic bit of heaven! The pizzas are hand-tossed, and they've got home-made desserts, too. Yum! more
