From humble beginnings as a day nursery in 1890, Akron Children?s Hospital has evolved into the largest pediatric health care system in northeast Ohio, operating two freestanding pediatric hospitals and offering services at nearly 80 locations across the region. Our pediatric specialties draw half a million patients each year, and include children, teens and adults from all 50 states and around the world.
