I have been bringing my Toyota vehicles to Gary at Airport Automotive for at least 15 years. He is the only mechanic that I truly trust. I now live north of Col Springs about 20 miles and I still only bring my vehicles all the way to his shop whenever they need any service or maintenance. I have had several vehicles run perfectly for over a hundred and fifty thousand miles and I am sure I owe it all to his excellent service. The Extra Mile, Above and Beyond! I needed some serious brake work done on my Saturn, but my wife was just home from having knee replacement surgery and I did not feel comfortable leaving her to drive to Airport Automotive. I called to make an appointment, old them the situation & Gary made arrangements to pick up and deliver my vehicle at my home so I would not have to leave my wife alone. It means a great deal to me to have a trusted business relationship with a very high quality mechanic and business owner such as Gary Olson. First of all, Gary knows Toyotas. He has many years of experience, and is able to explain the intricacies of unique Toyota function and stand there amused while I translate it into ""surgical"" language that this doc can understand better :-) ! Gary is honest, can see more than one option to complex problems, and while often the price tag of the repairs has been high, when compared to the cost of having a vehicle replaced, it's been well worth it. Our Toyota Previa is now over 300,000 miles -- over half of that under Gary's care -- and I'm told he has cars in his ""practice"" at over 400,000 miles now. Furthermore, his recent initiative -- partnering with a used car dealer and a body shop man to fix and give away a car to a deserving lady -- adds another dimension to Gary's shop -- that of philanthropist. While following my husband to drop off his truck to be repaired at Airport Automotive, my car died at a stop light. I had my vehicle towed to Gary's shop. My car was diagnosed and repaired the next day. My husband's truck went in for repair three days later. After Gary checked it over, he called to notify us of the repairs needed and suggested some maintenance items to get the vehicle in good running order. The truck was ready the next day as promised and at the charges that were quoted. Not only were our vehicles free of grease marks from the repair but they had been washed as well. What a nice surprise! Gary was friendly, knowledgable, and professional. The office staff was courteous and efficient. An overall great experience! more

Gary and his team are GREAT. Give you a priority list of what needs to be repaired. They are thorough. The shop is so clean it is amazing to me. All of the additional touches they provide to deliver terrific service are amazing. They follow-up and follow-through. What an great place to have your automotive work done. You're never just a customer to Gary. You're a person, and he will always take really good care of you. He's personable and gets to know his customers. He's not about fixing things just to fix them. He'll look for the most affordable ways to repair your car. To me, it seems like he's not just about making money, but fixing the issue and getting it right the first time.
