I spent about $3000 for a new condensing unit. It broke down after a couple of months. The owner, Alvin Brooks, after several attempts wasn't able to repair it. I had to pay another AC contractor over $1000 to make the repair that was suppose to be covered under warranty. I recommend, do not use this guy if you value your hard earned money!! He will rip you off. more

Hot Headed Owner 9/28/2011

I paid $2600 for a new AC unit that didn't work properly after it was installed. I contacted the owner (Alvin Brooks) about system not working properly. He argued with me and said there is nothing wrong. The problem was my house would not cool down. I decided it wasn't worth the heated discussions I had with him and called another contractor. I paid this other contractor over $1000 to fix the problem and now it works great. I would never recommend anyone to use this guy. more

Awesome Service! 9/28/2011

I called theAir You Go AC & Heating Solutions @ 7am & the owner Alvin Brooks answered and said he would send someone out about 10am. Not only did Mr. Brooks come himself but, was there at 9am and after an evaluation proceeded to fix the solution and gave me a fair price within a hour of being there. I am the owner of Air You Go. My name is Alvin Brooks. I strive in providing exceptional customer service and top notch service. In 17 Years of being in business i have never dealt with an individual of this caliber.This gentlemen is one of the most unprofessional and rude people i have ever met in my life. We responded to his call within 1 hour and did replace his condensing units. The evaporator coil was checked and Mr. Goff was notified that its on its last leg but chose not to replace it. 2 days later we replaced his bad evaporator coil for free which cost the company $1800 out of courtesy in making sure he was happy. When he called me several months later stating that one of the units was having an issue i was more then happy to look at it however he notified me that he had another ac company look at it and they wanted to charge him $300 to fix it. I notified him that since he had another company work on the unit it voids the labor warranty. I was still willing to work with the gentlemen and resolve the issue but he became very erratic and irrational and cursed at me. At that point i seized the conversion. He is disputing the charge but Mr. Goff i hope your aware that it is against federal law to dispute a charge that your authorized and service was provide. i have invoices signed that you were satisfied with services rendered. This is the only and first negative claim my business has ever received over the past 17 years. If i didnt want to resolve the issue and didnt care about my customers, i wouldnt have given you a free evaporator coil. I warn all companies in all fields when dealing with Mr.Goff, he is a customer that never will be satisfied and is wanting to get things for free fraudulently. more

Unprofessional Owner!!! 9/12/2011

Service is good until you have a problem. In May, they installed two new Ruub condensing units ($4076). However, the owner whom, evaluated my needs and recommended the replacement of these two units forgot to check out the evaporator coils in the attic. After installation, half the house wouldn't drop below 85 dec. after 8 hours of running it. After a few days of run around with all kinds of BS, it was determined by his own ""expert"" that the evaporator coil was cracked. He wanted to charge me $2000 to replace it. I made him do it for no charge by stopping payment on the check. This was after much fighting with me. Three months later, the compressor went bad in one of the units. When I called him about it, he cursed at me and refused to come take a look at it. I filed a dispute with my Discover card and recovered the money to hire someone else to repair it. The owner is very unprofessional and I warn people not to do business with him!! more
