After Words is a great bookstore, if you're looking for obscure books at a reasonably price. When you look around you can see the variety that you would not find at a regular chain. There is a large selection of artsy books that would make great coffee table books. Amazon books on photography, fashion design, religion, anything you could possibly imagine. It's a cozy bookstore that gives you a friendlier feeling than many of the large corporate chains. more

Rare books! 8/3/2005

After Words is the best bookstore in Ann Arbor, in my opinion. Don’t go there if you want to buy textbooks, because that’s not what they do. What they DO have is the best selection of rare books you won’t find elsewhere. If you love good books and old books, it’s definitely worth checking it out. more

gerat discount bookstore that has all categories. features close-out books. great for gift-giving. doens't have complete selection that your major retailer may have, but still fun to look around. parking can be difficult because it's on main street depedning on the time of day. staff is freindly and they also carry postcards, journals, etc. 2 floors of books. more

This is a small, great bookstore, with wonderful prices. They don't have a huge selection, but great pleasure reading books. NIce old wood floors inside, nothing too fancy, quaint. Parking can be a little difficult. more
