This is a large cardiology group- spread over the south suburbs- in Blue Island, Mokena, Palos Park, Joliet, Morris and a few other places.
They have taken care of me for several years, and some of the doctors in the group are indeed excellent- Dr. Shin is my doctor and he is truly excellent. Caring, intelligent, and willing to spend the time. The big problem with this group is that you never know who is going to take care of you if you end up in the hospital or need a procedure. Some of the other doctors,are just plain scary. In particular, there are three brothers who all work for them- talk about nepotism- and I wouldn't want any of them to take care of my dog. This can be something of a problem when you are lying on the table and the doctor comes in to put a stent in, and it is a doctor you don't like or one you have heard bad things about.
Pros: Some very good doctors
Cons: Some very bad doctors. they seem to order a lot of tests.
