Terrible, rude customer service. I always have to wait a minimum of a week to get my home serviced even if I have a wasp problem because the techs are only in my area one day a week. No exceptions. I have waited several weeks for service before. If they have to re-schedule, they don't call and let you know, they just don't show up. If you let them know you have a problem with their service, they become very rude and start making up lies about you. Craziest company I have ever done business with. Getting out of the contract is impossible, so do yourself a favor and don't sign up to begin with! more

Very rude customer service and they do not follow contractual obligations. Beware before you sign on. I am still fighting with them about my money and deal. If you still end up signing up, make sure you are at home and follow them around when they spray. If you dont, they dont spray all around and stick a bill on your door that they already finished. more

I have been with Advantix Pest Control for a few years and I have loved their service. I had a problem with ants every winter and could never get rid of them myself so a friend told me to call Advantix. Well after a few treatments the ants were gone and haven't had them back since. I have used Advantix Pest Control for years! I have nothing but great things to say about them. I would always get ants every winter and tried to get rid of them my self and never could. Well a neighbor told me about Advantix and after a few treatments they were gone and the ants haven't come back. I love having pest control. The employees have been so nice and I enjoy visiting with the technician when he comes out every season. Thanks!! more

Have to agree with the bad customer service. I had the rudest tech come out to service and later when I called in I found out it was the owner-Scott. But he goes by a different name on his uniform, so watch out. more

Waste of Money!! 12/13/2008

It appears that the last review in which positive information was left was written by the owner or the owners wife. This company has been a massive head ache to deal with. In two months I paid over $160 and still have crazy spiders. The say the will come out and spray my house again but make me wait several weeks until they come. I also tried to cancel but they said they would take me to collections if I didn't pay a cancel fee. Save yourself time and money, don't do business with these people! Pros: Not any Cons: waste of money. still have pests! more

The Death of a Spider... or a Million Spiders 8/14/2008

I have Advanitix and I love it. My house used to be full of spiders (and I mean full, hobos mostly). I used to find at least 1 large spider a day chillin' in my bathtub, not to mention the ones I'd see throughout the rest of the house. Enter Advantix: It's been about 8 months since I started with them and my inside spider count has been maybe 3, and that's without having the inside of the house serviced yet. I know having the inside done would probably take that count down to zero but it's hard to be home for an inside service. My favorite part it going out on my front step and seeing a few dozen insects dead, even in the winter! I read a previous review and was surprised that they had such a bad experience. My recommendation: read the contract and pay attention to what they tell you!!! You know what assuming does. Pros: They control pests, just like they said they would :) Cons: I have to sweep a lot of dead insects off my porch... more

worst company ever, worst customer service 7/24/2008

I will never recommend this company to even one of my worst enemies.. I guess it should be a warning sign when someone comes around knocking on your door to sell their service they must not be a very good company. They stated they would do one application that day for $99.00 and then you must sign up for four more services once every three months and they would automatically take $79.00 out of your acct . Well were we surprised when only a monty after the first initial spray they took $79.00 out of our acct, that we did not agree to and was not even on our contract, when we called to complain they said they told us that they had to come and spray again in one month. When we then stated to discontinue the service they said we were still responsible for the remaining four applications and we would have to pay the full fees, but on the contract it states that if you cancel you are only responsible for the difference of original application fee of $165.00 which we got discounted to $99.00 which we paid, so we should only be charged $66.00 to cancel not the remaining four installments. Pros: they talk a good game Cons: they are the biggest rip off ever more
