Normally I do not write letters of appreciation to a quality business from which I expect top-notice service, but in this case, I would be seriously remiss if I did not recognize Jorge Adeler’s exceptional design talent and master craftsmanship ability. Recently my wife and I wanted to do something special for our daughter, a mother of two children, for Mother’s Day. We decided that we would surprise her with a gold heirloom ring specifically designed and crafted by Jorge solely for her. In discussing this idea with Jorge he immediately suggested that our daughter intimately participate in the design. Although this action would mute the surprise she would have a ring that she truly would love and cherish for the rest of her life. We agreed and set up a meeting between the two to discuss the design. Afterwards we settled on a price and provided several familial items to Jorge from which the ring would be crafted. Several weeks later the ring was ready and it was exactly what my daughter envisioned it to be - classically elegant and truly special. Thanks to Jorge Adeler’s attention to detail in ascertaining what my daughter wanted, and his outstanding ability to design and craft a ring capturing her desires, she now has the heirloom ring we hoped to provide her. In our opinion Jorge Adeler should add “ Jeweler Extraordinaire” to all his business cards. more

I am writing to let you know how delighted I am with the beautiful pendant you designed for my husband to give me celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. While I have received many compliments on it, one of the more unusual came while we were having a quick lunch in a family-run diner in Stamford, CN a few weeks ago. An older gentleman approached me and asked to see the pendant up close. He examined it very carefully, asked who had designed it and if the number 50 on the back represented how many the artist had created. I told him that as far as I knew it was an original designed for our anniversary and that you had created it. I've traveled some, shall we say. I've been to my share of jewelers. From the Caribbean to NYC, from several spots in Europe to Israel, etc. I've purchased gems from southeast Asia, Australia, and Brazil as well. I've certainly been to much bigger stores, which have correspondingly bigger inventory, but I HAVE NEVER been to any stores that are better, and perhaps a mere handful that are equal in quality to this store. The Adeler family has an eye for colored gemstones that is unsurpassed....and of course, they have beautiful diamonds and pearls, old coins and gold, etc. But to me, it's the colored gems....I have never seen any more luscious, intense colors anywhere...positively dripping with glorious hues. I've purchased a few things....only constrained by finances, not desire....and had a few things made for me. This is truly one-of-a-kind family service, with people who are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to design almost anything you can think of. You simply cannot go wrong in this place. I just hope they don't get so popular that I can't get in the door! more

Adeler Jewelers is situated on a village green in up-scale Great Falls Virginia. For those of you who might be intimidated in such a setting...don't be. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable. My wife and I purchased loose gems in their store...while such a sale could not even compare with some of the sales they make to the millionaires who live in Great Falls, they took a substantial amount of time showing us the loose gems, determining which were the best, and then determining which were of similar size. The time they devoted to us put us at ease, and ensured that we would be return customers. more
