From Out of State and we Broke Down 4/29/2010

My starter went out in my Suburban and we are from Nebraska on vacation so we called Addison Automotive and they were very professional through the entire process. They towed my vehicle from where it broke down and replaced the starter and had it ready to go in just a couple hours! The price was very fair (far less than I expected, especially from being out of state) and they showed us a lot of courtesy. If you live in this area you are crazy not to bring your vehicle here to have it serviced. They told me they are family owned and have been in business for quite some time now. Bob W. Loyal Customer for 10+ Years 12/26/2008

I started going to Addison when I was single after getting a referral from another loyal customer. Now married with 3 cars and have always found them to be honest, hard-working people we can count on. We even drive across town to get there. Every time we've referred people to them, they have ended up saving money for the same repair priced elsewhere. We have family in another state that own this type of garage where they want to "make a living, not a killing" and treat their customers well. So we feel comfortable going there. You won't get fancy coffee or WiFi - but they will repair your car and even be truthful and tell you when a repair isn't really necessary - something I haven't always received elsewhere. more

Very Inexpensive 7/6/2007

I was reading some of the posts about Addison Automotive being expensive. They have always been the cheapest for me and my wife. They are also very honest about what needs to be replaced. On at least 2 occassion that I can remember, they told us that we did not need an expensive repairs (even after Firestone told me I did)...and that alone is worth driving 10 miles to have my vehicles repaired there. (I live in Plano). They know the business, they know cars inside and out. It's the only place we go (and I have 3 repair shops within 1 mile of my house). more

Used them for years 3/12/2007

My wife has used Addison Automotive since before we met, over ten years ago. I started using them also and we have both found them very helpful, honest and diligent in solving problems. We have never felt "oversold" on the work to be done. Highly recommend them. more

knowledgable yet expensive 8/18/2005

I had a front end alignment on my suburban that ended up costing well over $100. They charged up my a/c system and charged me $165. Both seemed very expensive. They were going to fix my a/c system for a cost of $1400. I did it myself for $25. They seem knowledgable and are very courteous and prompt, but they're too rich for my blood. more
