i had nothing but bad customer service as well. i agree with the preceeding reviews that this hotel's staff needs serious customer service training. Cons: absolute disgrace, not worth the rates, terrible service more

dont stay here! 7/20/2005

the hotel looks very nice and ritzy and everything but the staff is horrible. they are not friendly or seem to even care about the needs or inquiries of the guests. i waited an hour for someone to find my room and then found out that it wasnt even the room i booked! they staff was very inconsiderate and even valet was worthless. i would never recommend this hotel to anyone! Pros: none, none , none Cons: poorly run, bad customer service, bad hotel overall more

disgusting 7/18/2005

check in starts at 3pm. i arrived at 7:30 pm and no room was available for another hour and 45 mins. i paid $14 to park my car while i waited and pulled up to the parking lot that was full. then when i approached the staff about my problem i got the runaround about who i should speak to in order to get my refund for parking. i wasnt until i finally found the head manager that my issues were taken care of. and even the manager was very short and condescending when speaking with me. all the staff was undertrained and very rude. i would never ever recommend that anyone ever stay at this hotel even if it is the cheapest. i recently stayed across the street at the drury plaza and the service was excellent! i suggest going there instead. Pros: nice place, clean rooms Cons: rude staff, bad service more

  • High Horse
Walking into the spacious three-story atrium lobby, guests realize this is no ordinary hotel when they see the 9-foot-tall bronze horses created by Venetian artist Ludovico De Luigi. After a game of racquetball or a workout in the weight room, relax in the sauna or swim in the indoor or outdoor heated pool. Follow with afternoon tea in the sunlit lobby.

    Location
In the shadow of the Gateway Arch, the Adam's Mark is within walking distance of major downtown attractions such as Laclede's Landing, Busch Stadium, the Kiel Center and Union Station. For dining, guests have a choice of award-winning gourmet cuisine at Faust's, casual contemporary at Chestnut's or sports-bar fare in Players. For after-hours entertainment, guests can choose between AJ's, one of the area's hottest nightclubs, or Pierre's for soft jazz.
