I've been coming to Active Life since 2005. I'm currently on a maintenance program and STILL seeing improvements! And it's just like going to 'Cheers' where everyone knows your name! They are great! Dr. Purcell keeps up on the most current treatments. This is a great place to come if you are in pain. You don't need to live like that. Make your appt for a consultation now! You won't regret it! more

Great Experience for your Back 4/20/2011

I'd like to tell you about one of the best experiences of my life. A friend referred me to Active Life Health and Wellness. I have had chronic back problems for years and had just been diagnosed with a low back protusion which only intensified my situation. I began their program and after 7 months of treatment, I couldn't be more pleased. \r \r Active Life is conveniently located in North Las Vegas. They have a great facility and an even greater staff. Each staff member knows your name and greets you warmly. They are very attentive to your every question or need.\r \r The treatment program includes a lot of home exercise which is crucial for a successfull intervention. I can testify to the good results that will follow. The free exam is enough to convince you to give it a try. I recommend it highly. As I have said many times, I wish I would have known how to care for my back many years ago. Active Life has taught me how to do that. more

I thought my life was over! 3/28/2011

I was desperate! I was losing my ability to walk and I was in great pain. I found Active Life Health and Wellnes after a brief internet search. When I saw the x-ray of my back I was horrified. It looked like it was broken and I wondered if I could ever function normally again. There was not just one area of subluxsation but five. Dr. Purcell told me that he and his staff have had worse cases and told me that he could help. I needed a new back and a new life.\r After 14 treatments and home assingments as a suppliment I am functioning now 40 to 50 percent better. I have struggled for 15 to 20 years with slowly failing back health. I am now on my way returning to a vibrant life of productive work and enjoying the active things I do. \r I realized that my primary role of commitment and determination is what allows the staff at Active Life to apply expertise and dedication to their work to help people re-gain a life without pain or restriction in movement. more

Outstanding Place! 3/23/2011

I am a new patient to Active Life Health and Wellness and I am amazed! I had no idea that I had such a severe problem because I was deteriorating slowly, and just thought I was getting old. The treatment plan they gave me is designed to stop this process and give me the opportunity to maintain and even improve my mobility as I grow older. The staff and doctors are incredible. I usually don't go to the doctor but this is such a positive experience that I enjoy going. I would recommend anyone to go. You won't regret it! more

Best Health and Wellness Center 2/18/2011

After seeing great success with my son after his adjustments, I decided to take a leap and look into my own neck and back. \r \r I am a 32 year old mother of a 7 month old. Four days after delivering my son I was hospitalized in a hypertensive crisis. I have never had high blood pressure in my life. I never even had it during pregnancy. I ended up spending the first 3 1/2 months of my sons life in and out of the hospital. I was like a guinnea pig. I had several tests including MRI's, CT scans, Xrays, hundreds of lab studies, a left and right heart catheterization, TEE, spinal tap, blood patch.. The list goes on and on. Not even including the countless meds I was prescribed. \r I found the Doctors wouldn't even listen to me. They were so quick to want to prescribe a pill. It seemes as if that is all they cared about, not me. I am now proud to say that I am attending Active Life Health and Wellness. I found the results of my xrays to be shocking. No wonder I am in pain. No wonder I am having health issues. This entire office cares about you as a person and your overall wellbeing!!! I am only a few days in and feel great! I now have hope! Thank you Dr. Purcell and Dr. Stanley as well as the entire staff. And a special thank you to Emily Miller for reminding me that I am important. My health is important!! Thank you more

LIFE CHANGE TO A NEW ME! 7/19/2010

I have been a patient of Active Life and Wellness for over 4 yrs. In that time, after following their program, I feel like a new person!\r They CARE for you as a person and you are not just a name.\r With their expert guidance and direction, in a friendly, upbeat atmosphere, I feel better than I ever imagined with my severe case of scoliosis. I have more mobility and stand taller than I ever thought possible. \r My pain is miminal in comparison to when I first began my treatments.\r There are no adequate words to describe the dedication of Dr. Purcell to my personal well being.\r By putting in the time and the effort, with their directiion, this has been life changing for me.\r Their is nothing more important to me than my health! They're All About My Good Health! 5/10/2010

When I first visited Active Life Health & Wellness I had reservations because two orthopedic offices and a pain management office could do not to relieve my pain and help me begin to enjoy life again. After 3 months, a couple of dozen visits, including daily adjustments from Dr. Stanley with decompression sessions, daily neck traction experiences and dedicated homework prescribed for me, I Feel Great!\r From Kimberly at the front desk who greets me with a smile everyday to Tara, Anna and Adam who go out of their way to make me feel at home and without whom I would be just another name on a doctor's chart to Dr. Barry Stanley; the man that has me feeling like a NEW MAN!!!
