<p>I'm Bill Fleming, tour director, driver and booking agent for your tours of Mt. Desert Island. In the past, I offered personalized, custom tours to those who prefer a more flexible itinerary, perhaps exploring other parts of our intriguing island, maybe including a traditional Maine lobster luncheon at one of the many locations available. Unfortunately, because of my advanced age, the cost of insurance for me to continue to take people into Acadia Park has become untenable. However, under my direction, I have several venues available for such service and will be happy to arrange for your tour, with late model vans capable of carrying up to 6 passengers. The rate is $80.00 per hour for the driver/narrator and van. There is an additional fee of $5.00 per person, payable to the National Park.<br /><br /><br /> It would be an honor to introduce you to our magic island, and show you the highlights, as well as many secret spots of beauty known only to us, the lucky ones who make our homes here.</p>
