At first, Able was friendly and helpful and we were able to obtain an estimate right away. When it came to the actual move-nothing was done correctly. The rep who gave us an estimate, Dan, completely underestimated our materials and the amount of boxes we needed. This left us on moving day without a box for a expensive TV (which we requested several times) and without a box for a mattress (among other materials). We really could not believe that the rep from Allied failed to put our huge mattress on the inventory, yet estimated the weight of our materials correctly. When we called to talk to our coordinator she completely ignored all our requests and told us ""you're lucky we are not charging you more."" --not an appropriate response from a business. Our coordinator made empty promises, which made for a VERY stressful move. DO NOT go with this company. They are horrible and inexperienced. more

We moved with Able Moving in to storage and out. They packed our goods perfectly. Everything labelled correctly and not one scratch on our furniture. The price was under their estimate. The did everything we asked and more. Best move we ever had. C.A. more

Be very wary of this company. We were told that if we packed some of the boxes they would reduce the estimated charge at the end of the move. Unfortunately, at the end of the move, THEIR estimate turned out to be wrong and they therefore refused to discount the charge accordingly as promised.
