The Abiding Spirit Center, located in Crystal Lake - Illinois, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing resources that focus on empowering the individual, improving health and strengthening relationships through the use of natural, traditional and creative avenues which utilize mind, body, spirit connections.
These include: Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Traditional Martial Arts (such as Aikido and Iaido), Yoga, Tibetan Meditation, Creative Forces and Development (Writing and Music), Japanese Cultural Studies (such as Language and Calligraphy), as well as other activities.
We also offer a Veteran's Outreach Program, which provides services and activities to enhance the lives of veterans and their families.
Abiding Spirit Aikikai is a traditional martial arts dojo located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. We offer Aikido classes for adults and children and Iaido classes for adults. Located at 1540 Carlemont Drive, Crystal Lake, Illinois, we are easily accessible to other communities besides Crystal Lake, such as Algonquin, Woodstock, Elgin, McHenry, Lake in the Hills, Huntley and Carpentersville..
