I was just so thrilled for myself and our guests as we enjoyed the delicous appetizers Abbey served our cocktail reception after a concert. The servers made sure that glasses were topped with wine and that everyone had plenty of food to enjoy. Very excited to work with Abbeys again. more

My wedding was the most amazing day of my life and I owe a lot of it to David, my Abbey Coordinator, the Abbey Chefs, and Jesika, VP of Special Events. From the moment we made the big decision to go with this company, everything went flawlessly. We impressed upon them that we are a very busy couple and dont have time to plan all the details of a wedding. We were intrigued with their all inclusive package especially at about 2/3rds of our entire budget. You know they say you get what you pay for? Well with The Abbey's package, we got WAY more than what we paid for. The flowers were delightful, the food perfectly prepared and presented, the staff was good looking and attentive, and the coordinator David was a dream come true. If you get a package, ask for David as your coordinator! more

We recently had a wedding at the Cuvier Club and we had Abbeys cater the event. The food is amazing, especially the crab cakes, beef wellingtons, their house salad with crumbled feta and candied walnuts, and their salmon in puff pastry entree. We did a lot of shopping for a wedding caterer and thanks to all the great reviews, we chose Abbeys. Our guests are glad we did and we are even more. A++ more

We had a large volunteer appreciation party at the Air and Space Museum. We were blessed with over 750 guests and each one of them were thrilled with the food stations and the impeccable service. We had 5 stations which worked out fantastic. Glamorous Slider Bar, "Shaken, Not Stirred.." Martini Salad Bar, South of the Border Taco Station, a live action Sushi Station, and an Orient Express Station. Really any one station was enough to satisfy one's appetite, but having all five perfectly decorated, with amazing cuisine, and fun/exicting signs to identify each station made the food experience exceeding everyones expectations. To top things off, the price was lower, the menu more expansive, and the staff level was higher than the other 6 caterers we considered. The Abbey is a great company and we (all 750 of us) look forward to having them caterer all our future events. more

WOW! If you're looking for a caterer with a fun, can-do attitude, delicious food and incredible staff, look no further. I contacted Zapher at Abbey Catering to do a 500 person, outdoor cocktail event in San Diego with a limited budget, and he put together an amazing menu that delighted all. Other caterers I called actually said they couldn't do it, but Zapher was willing to take on a challenge with just a bit of creativity. Despite the limited appetizer budget, food was outstandingly prepared, fresh and ample. Skewers and homemade pita were served hot off the grill. Trays of tuna tartare were passed by friendly servers and wine and beer stations were strategically placed around the venue to promote movement and conversation. We even had a floating bar in the pool! I can't say enough about Zapher, Jessica and team. They helped us create a memorable event that kept everyone who attended raving about it for weeks! more

I had such a wonderful experience working withThe Abbey Catering. Our wedding was amazing thanks to Zapher, Petr and everyone else at Abbey. Everything was perfect-the food was great, the flowers were gorgeous and most of all it was so much fun and stress free. Petr is the best, he took care of everything, it was seamless! Zapher has such a great company. I would highly recommend choosing The Abbey! We had the best honeymoon in Maui, thanks to Zapher letting us use his condo. My wedding was held at the Bernardo Winery and I originally was working with a different caterer. I wasn't really excited about the choice of food so I contacted the original caterer about changing it to brunch food vs. the usual boring dinner and got a lackluster response. I was too busy with work to deal with it, but my sister got ticked and decided to contact The Abbey. Within two days, Alana created a great proposal and by the end of the week we had several revisions to get the final product. We didn't have time to taste the food, we just jumped in with both feet and were never disappointed. Petr was our banquet captain and he was great. He was very organized and full of great ideas when asked. People raved about our choice of brunch for dinner, but it really was the quality and presentation of the food and the service that made the people rave. Well done, and thanks! more
