I got some work done to my car, and had a problem that started the day I picked it up. I called back thinking it might be related, and got an exasperated and annoyed response that it wasn't that but could be three other things related to my tires balance, tread or rim. (I told them that was weird since it started the day I picked up the car, and I had just gotten 4 new tires balanced and mounted over the tax free weekend.) Not only that- my center cap was stolen while at their shop and to this day has not been replaced. (They leave your car outside in the city.) I also asked for a quote for some future work and called twice for it, and still do not have a quote after 8 days. Never going back. more

Brought my new Audi in to have a protective film put on the front end. A-Z did a great job with the install. Not only was it much cheaper than the dealer, they were also very friendly. more

Freddy the owner was very responsive to the concerns I had about my repair. While the initial work had a few issues, he was very concerned to hear this, acknowledged them, and did what was necessary to make it right. I ended up very satisfied. If you have any issues with your repair for whatever reason, make sure Freddy knows about them. more

These guys are like the big brothers that I never had! I have never had a family member take care of my car but I can only imagine that they would have the same care and consideration as A-Z Auto.\r \r Being young and female, I am accustomed to being taken advantage of by garages. I can't say enough good about this place. They are honest to a fault. The quality of work they do is amazing and in my experience the customer service just keeps getting better and better. Through repeat encounters they made it clear that they are genuinely concerned with the wellbeing and safety of their customers. Sadly, upto this point I had neglected any maintenance except oil changes for three years. Backing out of my garage and not realizing the door was not all the way up, I violently ripped off the antenna from the roof of my Mazda CX-7. The force not only ripped off the antenna but also caused a dent in the roof and deep scratches in the paint. I had just bought it (<1300 miles!) and the the paint was a special metallic color (black cherry) which I was worried about being able to match. The dealer didn't do repair work, and I knew the Audy's through their gas station in Brighton, and had heard good things about their repair business. I couldn't be happier with the result of the work they did...I would defy anyone to find any evidence that work had been done on the car. No evidence of a dent, or deep scratches, and the paint was matched perfectly. They also replaced the antenna and repaired its connection so I have perfect reception. The cost was much less than I expected as well. Everyone there was courteous and helpful and they delivered the car freshly washed and cleaned...inside and out. I am generally skeptical of claims made when I am considering someone to provide services but Billy Audy and his crew lived up to his claim, at least in my experience, that A-Z was the best in Boston. more

I recently used a Groupon certificate for car detailing by A-Z Auto Center in Brighton. The result was terrible?little better than a simple wash and wax with interior shampoo. The wheels had dirt still packed in the crevices and dirty film on all areas except the outer surface. The interiors and exteriors of the windshield and rear window were streaky. The wax finish had swirl marks in it, and the paint finish had many small scratches that were not taken care of. The roof still had tree sap stains on it. Although the door jambs and sills were cleaned, the seals on the trunk lid and hood had not been cleaned of debris and dirt. The headlights were filmy and finely scratched. The floor mats were still wet and stashed in the trunk along with some maps that had been soaked. And the radio was tuned to a station different than the one it is usually on, and volume was very loud. Based on this experience, I would not recommend the A-Z Auto Center for anything, and certainly not for auto detailing. more

Be very careful about about this repair shop. You bring the vehicle in for one problem and then you receive a phone call from them with a list of additional problems and "potential" problems which they suggest you repair and/or replace because "down the road there could be issues". They claim they would be saving you labor if you fixed the problems now rather than later. Despite being AAA approved, they do practice this ploy which unfortunately is common among so many garages. I would say be specific about your problem and be VERY CAREFUL about following any suggestions to fix other issues. Sometimes it's true that once a mechanic gets into a problem there may be more involved, but remember they make $ on labor, so often a small issue can morph into something labor intensive. I dont think they are rude as some have said here, but they will TRY and take advantage of anyone who appears to be vunerable. I usually sign up for an account in order to review for either great service or awful service. Unfortunately, this will be one of the latter. I came to these guys on March 28, 2010 on account of their incredible service rating. In short, precedent usually sets up for repeat, but in this case, I was short-shafted in the highest degree. My car had received some damage in which I had called my insurance company to look at. The insurance company had given me a claim number and adjuster, as well as a third-party appraisal manager. Fortunately for me, the damage under the car was under $1000, and with a $300 deductible, I imagined that I would only pay the difference. On the positive side, the repairs were completed within 4 business days and I was told to pick it up or suffer storage charges of $50/day. With this strong incentive I went to pick up my car, the repairs looked great, although I didn't receive a wash and vac service. All in all, they had told me ""that insurance would cover it and that I had to pay to pick up my car."" Wanting to avoid the storage fees and assured (not written) that everyone would be resolved, I paid the amount requested. A day later, the insurance company called saying they would not cover ANYTHING due to the fact the appraisal people said there was NO damage whatsoever after dropping by the service center. Here is where it gets very gritty; the service center claims to me that it reported damage as given in my report, while also claiming the service center did not report damage to the appraiser. The appraiser reports to me that it has been looked at and appraised for near $455 dollars, but will add an addendum when it is finished. Contrary to that fact, the appraiser admits no damage to my insurance company and my insurance company refuses payment. It seems that the disjunction between multiple people put A-Z auto center at fault (source), as well as my insurance company (recipient of false info). All in all, I am very unhappy that none of this was clearly explained and that I have to pay out of pocket. The insurance company was Commerce with AAA, adjuster named Nina who was highly hostile and uncooperative. I am moderately happy with the work, but I am frustrated beyond all hell with their insurance negotiation policies. In the end, they give good service and great car washes, but when it comes to using your insurance to pay them for an auto collision/accident, it is not worth a second of your time to choose them. The cheapest gas in the area! They also do state inspections, although I felt as though because I was a woman that they told me I needed to pay for some extras before they would approve my inspection. Also they are open really early and late in case you are running low on fuel more

First of all I never have felt compelled to write a glowing review before but these guys take the cake. Greg is wonderful, and tells you exactly how the process works as well as put pictures on the web so you can see the work being done, will deal with your insurance for you, arrange for a rental for you and then deliver your vehicle not only excellently repaired but fresh and clean. I recently took my mercedes in to A-Z auto center to get repainted and dent freed. From all the reviews I've read about this place I had high hopes and figured that my baby would be in good hands. I am glad that I choose A-Z over all the other places I looked at. Not only did they take care of my baby and do excellent work on my car, their customer service is excellent as well. They took care of all my needs, made sure I understood what needed to be done and answered all my questions. I actually want to give A-Z a 4.5 star rating, but I can't. I give a 4.5 because there were small details that I thought could have been done/handled better. I'm not sure if it is becuase when I took in my mercedes A-Z was very busy, or it is becuase I am used to very high standards when it comes to my car, or it could just be that I am a stickler for details. When I read other people's reviews about their cars being spotlessly detailed, I had hope the same too. However, my car was not as clean as when I take it to Mercedes for a basic wash or detailing. Another thing was that, they miss the fact that the mercedes emblem on the trunk of my car was missing and needed a replacement, (however they are getting that fixed). Other then that the scratches on my roof are still there, they said that it could be buffed off, but the scratches were too deep. In the end, I am actually satisfied with the work they did on my car, the amount of time it took, and the friendlness of everyone at A-Z, and also the fact that they did the hood of my trunk eventhough it was not in the original estimate, and that they did it for free. I highly recommend this place if you need your car fixed and I would definately go back there again if I need a repair job done. I am a 25 year old girl who knows NOTHING about cars so it would be real easy to lie to me and take my money. About 6 months ago i tore off my bumper and had it duck taped onto my car. I kept putting it off because of two reasons... 1) horrible experiences I have had a other auto centers. I cant tell you how many times I had been ripped off. 2) I am SO BROKE! A-Z Auto Center is by far the best service center I have ever been to. As a woman I am always very cautious about estimates I'm given for service on my car. I had a list of items that needed to be addressed, most were minor, but a couple were pretty big. The guys at A-Z are wonderful. They were very patient and thorough with me as I asked a lot of questions, they carefully explained each and every part needed, the price, and approximately how long the labor would be. I felt very comfortable with all of the information I was given and was confident they were being completely honest. They repaired each and every issue, and in less time than estimated. The final bill was almost $300 less than what they quoted me and they gave me a 10% discount on all of the parts. Additionally they washed my car and vacuumed and cleaned the interior! It was such a nice bonus to pick up a sparkling car! That was above and beyond my expectations. One of the owners, Billy personally came out to introduce himself and thank me for my business and to make sure that I was satisfied with their work. I could tell he is an honest and sincere business owner and truly cares about his customers. I never expected to be treated so well at a car service business, I was very impressed and very happy with my experience from start to finish. All in all the customer service and work done by A-Z Auto Center was nothing but outstanding, professional, and completely satisfactory. I will never take my car anywhere else and highly recommend them to anyone! Needing body work done on your care is always a nightmare and I went into it very skeptical because of frustrating experiences in the past. Quotes were all over the place, but I went with the lowest quote that came from A-Z. The work was done quickly and at the exact price quoted, which was greatly appreciated because I didn't want to go back and forth with the person who damaged my car. I really enjoyed visiting A Z Auto Center today in Brighton, MA. All I needed was a headlight change and they were very eager to assist! Although they seemed swamped, Billy, one of the owners, took the time to listen to some of my concerns about some noise I was hearing in my engine. I told him I recently had a time tensioner that went out but was fixed this last week. He had a mechanic look into it and actually brought me back to have me look in my engine so both he and the mechanic could show me what looked incorrect. They advised I take my car back to the dealership where I had my service done, and have them review it. I appreciated Billy and his mechanics taking time to help me out. I'm always worried I'll get taken advantage of, especially when it comes to things I don't know too much about. But I didn't have to worry, Billy and his crew were great! There is no doubt that I'll be taking my car back for any future service. They know their business very well and I'll have no problem recommending them! This place absolutely rocks. I've always been treated fairly and the work has been amazingly high quality. A few times I've asked worked to be done and have received calls from them saying, "Hey, you really don't need this done.
