It is a sort of dollar theater. Prices are very low as compared to other theaters. One or two dollars. The movies which did ok business will come here . It is ok to go once in a while, The overall condition of the theater is mostly clean, worn but decent. It is not as comfortable as newer theaters but it will save you a lot of money. a big parking lot is there. Walmart is also there nearby more

This is one of the best dollar theatres I have been to - it is fairly clean, and they get new movies in every Friday. Their website is www.starplexcinemas.com/irving - All day Tuesday is $1 for all showings, so this is a great deal for taking the entire family or just your boy/girlfriend for a cheap night out. The only problem at this place is there is a ton of children on Friday and Saturday nights without parents, so try to see a rated R movie if you don't want all the commotion - there is normally someone monitoring the rated R theatres as well to make sure no kids sneak in which is a major plus!! more

Cheap Date 6/19/2005

Starplex Cinemas is an older theater that now falls into the "dollar theater" group. They show movies that are newer (typically close to when they are released to DVD) and that are no longer in the main line theaters. The overall condition of the theater is mostly clean, worn but decent, and older style seating. It is not as comfortable as newer theaters but for an hour and a half it will do. The movie tickets may be cheap, but the snack bar is definitely full price. With prices of around 8 dollars for drink and a popcorn it's a good thing the ticket prices are where they are at!! more
