Arm yourself with internet data, then bargain 8/18/2005

This is a nice alternative to the electronics appliance superstore, but you should check prices on line first. I went here to price a Panasonic air conditioner. Price was high, but exactly the same as the excellent, although pricey, Yale Electric, in Dorchester. Yale offered free delivery. AAA didn't, wanted to charge around $20 to deliver it down the block. Also a bit of a heavy sale -- as I left, one of the salesman tried to make me nervous about the limited supply of AC's. Ridiculous. If you live in JP, this place is convenient. But you should certainly bargain with them. Also check Yale Electric, a great place, although no bargain. To check a fair price web site, try JR.com. more
