I went for 3 classes and got the license. Dhaval was very nice and covered all lessons and made sure that I go to the test with confidence. Very pleasing experience. I would recommend this Driving school strongly!! more

Dhaval shah...he is be st tutor you ever found..He is very patient and very supportive.\r \r I got my drive test cleared on the first try. He is very calm,polite and punctual on time.\r \r He is really good at teaching has right techiniques.\r \r I recommend this driving school strongly!!!! more

Highly recommended. The Instructor, Dhawal Shah is a thorough professional yet \r friendly, very patient and encouraging. I am a first time driver and he guided\r me nicely through the course of the 6 hrs driving package . Dhawal is very \r knowledgeable with the road rules , techniques and driving skills to help you make \r a good driver. I had a great experience with A1 school. more

I got my license! And that wouldn't have been possible without Dhaval Shah. He's a supremely patient instructor and very encouraging. Motivates you to give it your best shot no matter how many times you goof up. Trains you for the worst in the best way possible. :)\r \r more

Very good instructor. I took driving classes over the last week and cleared the exams today on the first try, first Mr. Dhaval Shah told it would take 6 classes for me but upon seeing my progress he cancelled 2 classes and completed my driving lessons in just 4 classes. \r \r Upon that he is very calm, nice, polite and tries to make you as comfortable as possible during driving lessons. He is very flexible with the schedule and provided me lessons as early as 6:30 AM. \r \r He just don't prepare you for the road test but introduces to much more worse situations which we may face during normal driving. He pushes you to perform better in a very nice manner.\r \r Another important reason I would recommend him is that he would pick you from the location you mention and drop you at the location you want.\r \r He accompanied me to the DMV, explained every detail about the test and stayed in DMV till the test was over.\r \r I would definitely recommend A-1 International Driving School. more

thanks to Mr. Shahl, I now have my license. I have recently moved from India where I had been driving for ages..but everytime i went to give the driving test at the DMV, I would fail for cryptic reasons. I took 2 lessons with Mr. Shah & cleared the test immediately! He's patient, knows his craft inside out & best part was he even came with me to get my license! Now thats what I call personalised service. Thank you Mr. Shah!! more

I took 3 driving lessons with Mr. Vinod Shah. He has been very patient with teaching me and has always been honest. If I did bad in a particular lesson, he would let me know immediately (not in a way that you would panic) and would make sure I rectified it. I failed my previous road test, but after following Vinod's explicit instructions, I passed it almost effortlessly! You would have a hard time trying to fail, than to pass! :) Highly recommended! more

I highly recommend this driving school. A very friendly and patient instructor. They will try to make you a good driver and not just pass the test. Will tell you the most minute thing. more

Great Experience Instructor 5/11/2011

I just finished my lessons with A1 International Driving school. It was really very good , because four days ago I didn't knew that I will learn driving so soon. But I learn and got my license. He is really good experienced instructor. If you do your hard work, keep faith in yourself and listen all the tips and regulations, then there is no point that you will lose. He will also work with your schedule.He has positive attitude towards teaching. I am glad that I learn driving from him. more

Good value 1/12/2010

I shopped around and was able to negotiate a price for lessons and driving exam that beat the competition. He is very straight forward and direct with his teaching style which was perfect for me. I am very busy with family and work and he was able to pick me up from my home and work with my schedule. I liked his 2 lesson package as it fit my needs, I will be signing my wife up for driving lessons with him as well. Pros: Works with your budget and schedule Cons: Very direct more

One of the best in the Triangle area 8/2/2009

Bob Jones I recently completed the drivers ed course provided by A1 driving school it was a great experience not only was the instructor knowledgeable but at the end of the course I was very confident in my driving skills in that I was able to pass the road test the very next day I completed the course. I would recommend this driving course to anyone who wants to learn in an environment that is friendly, professional, and efficient. Pros: Professional, knowledable, friendly more

I had never driven a car before. After I learned from Mr.Shah, A1 International Driving School, I had gained lots of confidence in driving. He taught me driving in very less time and money at the end. I got my full License and confidence in 1st trial. So I totally disagree with some other bad reviews that I read here about him and I strongly recommend this Driving School to new students. more

Good calm instructor 2/12/2009

I just finished my training with A1 International Driving School,even though I had read all good and bad reviews because I had a bad experience to be charged by other school before even started driving lessons with them. and I was happy I tried this school to teach me. I thought I was lucky to have Vinod Shah as a instructor for me. He have good patience and positive attitude that I had learn driving sooner than I thought. I had lot less lessons than I thought and saved big bucks. Pros: Instructor more

Big NO to A1 and Vinod Shah 1/26/2009

The worst driving instructor you can find in triangle area, he is only polite and all very pleasing till you get int o to the course. Once you sign and join, customer satisfaction is gone, it will be your headache to finish and get rid of him. If you change a schedule he will charge you. He even in fact deliberately misguides knowing you will fail an go back for extra classes. If you are doing average he will push you for classes telling not satisfactory. Never think he is an indian and it may help you, he can only be harm. In indian terms just ""mathabi"". Keep away and find some american schools it will definitely help you. I dont think any one would recommend unless you know him personally and want to help him. Keep away form this A1 School.. Pros: He speaks very polite till you sign him. Cons: He is the worst Instructor, Misguides and will not do good to your confidence.... one big amar chitra katha.. more

Great Experience! 12/9/2008

I don't know what these other people were talking about - I found the Instructor (Vinod) to be very respectful the entire time. He was extremely patient since I was not the best driver to begin with. He went out of his way to pick me up from my home and drop me off and gave me 2 full lessons at a great rate that helped me get my license on the first try! I was referred by a coworker of mine and I will recommend the school to others as well. more
