Cold! 12/6/2011

It's getting cold outside and you know when your heater isn't working right. A #1 fixed my furnace and cleaned everything inside for under $300. The quality of service was great along with everyone I spoke to. If your looking for a solution fast, call these guys! more

STAY AWAY!!!! 12/1/2011

Don't be fooled by the one star - ZERO would be more accurate. Stay away from this company, they will only try to upsell you on any call they make. Not interested in fixing anything, all they want to do is sell you new and sell you maintenance contracts. Almost got scammed, they wanted to replace my existing unit that had stopped working with a brand new $4000 solution!! Problem was fixed with a $90 piece and a $70 service call. Either they don't know how to fix anything or they are too happy to take advantage of you and scam you out of your money. Either way, they don't seem like the solution to any heating or cooling problem - at least not for me, and if you value your money, you would also stay away from them. more

Holiday savers! 11/28/2011

I had everything going perfect for this holiday except one my heater started acting up. Less than 2hrs of my call a technician was out to fix my heater and get me heating. You can't have a thanksgiving in a cold house! Thanks a ton.. Amy more

Excellent Heating and A/C Systems cleaning and inspection. 11/3/2011

Peter Oti-Nkrumah responded to a request for a seasonal heating systems cleaning and checkup. From a friendly greeting and identification to a friendly and courteous good-by he was excellent. In addition to a thorough servicing and cleaning of both units he informed me of the Good Bad and Ugly of my heating and A/C units. He informed me and SHOWED me potential problems with the sytem. He also offered preventative solutions to any potential problem. Finally, he review work completed, explained charges, and gave me a chance to ask questions on anything he had done. Excellent technician with outstanding skills and a professional demeanor. I will request him again by name for future services. Willie R. more

3rd times a Charm 10/26/2011

I had several ac companies come to my house during June and July to give me a price for a new ac but could not get anyone to be honest with me about what exactly was wrong. Well the last company to call was A#1 Air in Carrollton and I am glad I did. They sent Dewayne Humphries out to go over things with me and give me a price, Dewayne was very friendly and honest and worked to get me the right price and financing. Thanks A#1 and thanks Dewayne for a job well done. more

I have to say that A1 without a doubt is the best AC Company in the Metroplex. I called for a quote in August and A1 sent Dewayne out to evaluate my airconditioner and told me that I should replace my system with an Amana Distinctions and he gave me a very good price and Dewayne had it installed a couple of days later and I am very satisfied with the end result. Thanks A1 and to your great salesman Dewayne. more

Satisfied 10/13/2011

I called A1 in July for a service call and at the recommendation of the service tech scheduled to have a salesman come out to give me a price to replace bot of my very old ac's! Dewayne was sent out to look over my systems and give me a price. Well I am a researcher and I do my homework before I purchase anything and I have to say that Dewayne was very easy to work with and gave me a GREAT PRICE! Thanks more

Just wanted to let your company know how blown away I am that there are still companies out there that strive to obtain such great customer service. I had Dewayne come out in July to give us a bid for a new ac and we purchased a new inside system from him. Dewayne followed up several times after the sale and we just received a thank you card from him and he gave us your review link to post a review for him and I have to say that I am very honored to do so. We had our AC serviced and repaired finally after two 2 bids Les Mc came out simplified clarifed and had us up and running in about 3 hrs really great guy knowledgable polite and very understanding we changed service from Samm's to A#1 best thing we ever did what a rip off. Les signed us up for the platinum club membership. I recommend this to anybody that plans on living in there home more than 2 years we feel so much better knowing we are in good hands. Great job guys keep up the good work................. more

My husband and I decided to purchase new air conditioners for our home during the summer, after getting 3 bids we went with A#1 because of the fine salesman they sent out by the name of Dewayne. I was really impressed with his attitude and his price. more

My wife and I called around in July to get some quotes to replace our 2 ac units. We had 3 companies come out to give us estimates. A#1 sent Dewayne Humphries out and he blew us away with his knowledge and PRICE so we went with his bid and glad we did! Thanks A1 more

I called A#1 in June to give me an estimate to replace my existing ac in which another company had installed about 5 years ago. I had nothing but trouble with my existing system but not any more thanks to Dewayne who is the salesman that A1 sent to my home. Great job! more
