A Studio Spa

Worst pedicure I've ever gotten. Even my husband thought I could do it much better myself, and I really cannot do my own pedicures. The nail lady acted like she had never painted toe nails before. Her ""technique"" was so amateur just like how I paint my own toenails....using several coat of thick paint to cover up streaks....and also she kept using her fingers to erase mistakes outside the nail. It took her three times to do my big toe nail right.....she had to use nail polish remover and start over so many times.To top it all off, the salon owner is a crook. He charged me $39 for the pedicure. I asked him if that was the price for the express pedicure, instead of the longer pedicure. He said yes. I took a brochure just to make sure, and read it later. It said $39 was for a full pedicure. I cannot stand liars so I went back and confronted him and he acted all surprised and hesitantly gave me a refund.Avoid this place! Seriously I've never gotten a worse pedicure. Did I mention they have no proper equipment. They use a wooden bowl to do your pedicure. It's filled with soap water which they keep dipping your feet back into. The water doesn't even change out which is just nasty. Yuck!!! Gross!!! more

I usually don't write reviews, but I just cannot hold my tounge and need to share this time. I am completely blown off my feet by this awesome experience of full relaxation and comfort, the boost of self esteem and the energy I got from this magic place. I spend my summertime in the Hamptons and this summer I devoted to religous visits to A Studio Day Spa. Their facials are not just applications of masks and oils, but a unique experience of total refreshing of my skin, radiance brought to it with each touch of the experienced and lovely cosmetologists. Each time I get my nails done there, I am charged with positive attitude and I my polish stays on for over a week on my fingernails, while the pedicures last good three weeks. The massages are my all time favourite! I love deep tissue work and this is the right place to get all my knots out. I am definitely a true and devoted fan of the spa forever! more

Stay away. Service is bad and owner is EXTREMELY rude. They do not have full time employees and post ads on craigslist for workers. They do not have any cancellation policies posted or in writing. Called and canceled an appointment, he hung up on me. Then charged our credit card account anyway. I called back and request they reverse the charge and the man refused. The man that answered the phone is clearly the owner but would not identify himself. I asked his name, he said ""Elvis"". I asked to speak with the owner, he said ""the owner will be back in october"". I said ""what is the owner's name?"". He said ""Elvis Presley"" and hung up the phone. Two calls, two hangups, one very rude owner. Stay away. I did get a haircut there, it was 90 minutes long and terrible. Cons: Rude Owner, Fraudulent Charges, Terrible Service more

visited twice, and both times felt I was the only one in the world. Wonderful treatments- facials and brows. They also worked with a difficult teen, and did a fantastic job. I'd recommend it to anyone, a mini vacation in the heart of the village. Outside is a little noisy, but that's the village. I felt like I was in Europe. more

My husband and I had visited the spa for a romantic couples massage. It was simply perfect. It was serene and relaxing session followed my champagne and chocolates. Did not want to leave! more
