ZERO STARS. I don't know how anyone could rate them so high! Jim Saccone is the worst landlord I have ever had. He cared nothing about his tenants needs. Left our 1920s apartment in horrible condition and never chose to do any renovations but yet raised the rent on us. He never put any matters into his own hands. He spoke like a child on the phone to me and my roommates, instead of solving problems in a professional way. He even hung up the phone on me. DON'T GO THROUGH THE STRESS OF DEALING WITH HIM. He is very unreasonable and won't negotiate. Glad to be out of one of his buildings for good! more

FRAUDS!!! 5/17/2012

I keep posting negative reviews for sac cone on yelp, and they keep taking them down, all I want is for people to know the truth. Obviously they don’t want prospective renters to know the truth about their questionable practices. I went into detail about how Saccone was very dishonest about the condition of the apartment. Saccone maintained sub-standard conditions,, and flat out lied about how and when they would return my security deposit. They kept my money to pay for normal wear and tear on the housing unit which was in very poor condition upon moving in. It looked like someones dog pissed all over the floor, and they just shellac right over it. They charged me for these damages, in addition to other damages that I was not responsible for. Not to mention that when I did have a problem, they were lazy and slow about correcting it. For example, my hot water tank was down for three weeks in the middle of the summer!. Only after calling again and again and again did they do anything about it. Do not rent from A. Saccone and sons, they are not to be trusted. more

Awful - negative stars - do not rent from A. Saccone & Sons! 7/12/2008

I have had an absolutely horrible experience with A Saccone & Sons. The building constantly has problems and when I call to have someone come to fix it, they are always rude on the phone or will tell me to fix it myself. The problems are not minor fixes, but rather the pipes bursting and flooding the apartment or parts of the infrastructure caving. There is mold behind some of the walls because sometimes the people they send to ""fix"" the issue are just relatives that live in the building for free who come and do a poor ""band-aid"" fix. There have been several complaints filed against them by other tenants of theirs. I'm sure it is fine renting from them if you are in a newer building that does not have parts of the roof caving in every two months, but otherwise, you might want to avoid renting with Saccone & Sons. I absolutely would not recommend renting from them. Pros: Nice when you have questions about paying rent! Cons: Rude, unprofessional, poorly kept building more
