A Llorens Decorating was started in 1950 in the Chicago and surrounding areas by Alvin Llorens. His son Bruce worked in the business during summers and frequently on weekends in his early teens. After serving in the Marines, Bruce joined his father in business in the early sixties. He is one of the few painters who was taught the skills of the brush prior to the invention of the roller. The brush remains the backbone of painting, but unfortunately, like many skills of the past, due to the modern use of the roller, many painters fail to learn the many uses of the brush, without the brush, they are merely a person who can put paint on the walls, but fall short of being a painter that can truly decorate. Bruce makes certain that all of his personnel are decorators and not merely one who paints. He concentrates on making the painting of ones house as pleasant of an experience as feasible with as little inconvenience as possible.
Looking forward to being of service!. Painting
