Ken Pupo at Confident Driving School 3/20/2012

After taking a few lessons with another Philadelphia driving school and being less than impressed, I decided to contact Confident Driving School and I am thrilled that I did. Ken Pupo is, hands down, the best driving instructor out there. He helped me pass my test with ease and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to take lessons, especially nervous drivers. He truly does have endless patience and will give you all of the tips and feedback you need to become a safe and knowledgeable driver. I anticipated that learning how to drive would be a totally nerve-wracking experience for me, but Ken made it fun and enjoyable! more

Awesome! 12/21/2011

Despite having a college degree I had no natural affinity for driving when I started taking lessons. Ken Pupo was my instructor and he was, quite simply, the best. He is funny, warm and most importantly has endless patience. (He also won't get upset if you frustrate yourself and cry at some point in the learning process, which I did on multiple occasions.) more

I've been a student my whole life and even with a Masters degree and the experience of taking tests, I felt a bit unprepared for the driving test. Ken Pupo, my driving instructor, was exactly what I needed to pass my driving test. He is knowledgeable, motivational and patient but most beneficial of all, he seems to understand exactly what the driving testers expect of you. In light of this, he knew exactly what to caution me about and what steps the testers are looking out for. He provided me with simplistic step-by-step strategies for every task ie: parallel parking, merging etc. He's an exceptional instructor and I recommend him without reservation! more

A Quality Service...did what they said they would do! 10/24/2011

Ken Pupo, my daughter's instructor was professional and knew his stuff. My daughter was on her third try to pass the driving test, so we decided to seek out a driving school. Confident Driving School was very responsive and not only did my daughter pass the test, but she learned some additional valuable skills that will make her a better driver. Kudos to Confident Driving School. more

Driving done right! 9/28/2011

My driving instructor was Ken Pupo. He's a great driving instructor! Taught me so much for driving and is an all around great guy! Any one who's taught by him will certainly learn how to drive and drive well! From day one I knew that he was going to help me learn how to drive and everyday I drove with him I in fact did feel more ""confident"" after every driving lesson. Not only does he have a great personality, he really does teach you how to drive and drills it into you on how to do it right. I finished my classes with him in about two months with one session each week all because of his great tutelage. Thank you so much Ken, thanks for helping me and teaching me as both a student and a friend. more

He is the best driving instructor to walk the face of the earth! I learned so much with him driving around. Because of him i got my license on the first try and nailed my parallel parking on the first try tooo!!!!!!! more

Best Driving School- Straight from my heart 7/23/2011

I am 33 year old never driven a motor vehicle before. Yesterday I got my license and it all required 6 lessons behind the wheel trust me just 6 lessons behind the wheel. I cleared my road test in the first attempt with 100 points without making a single mistake. Who made this possible?--Ken ---my driving instructor from Confident Driving School. He is sharp tells you exactly what you want to know about driving and introduces driving principles to you in a way that you will remember forever. His confidence in me never made me feel that I haven more

Professional, yet friendly. 2/15/2011

Not only had a very informative experience with Confident Driving School, but was also very fun! Had a great time, specifically, with the driver, Ken. He knew a lot of what he was talking about, and knew where I needed improvements the most, and how to explain to me how to make those adjustments. But all the while, he was a very warm, and friendly person, and kept things relaxed while professional. more

Awesome instructor and awesome school! 1/3/2011

I first heard of Confident Driving School through my relatives; my older cousin took lessons from this instructor named Ken. My cousin high recommended him so my family and I requested Ken as my instructor. When it came time for me to meet him, I was very nervous about driving. I would doubt myself a lot while driving and would constantly worry if I were doing something wrong; however, Ken was so laid back and it calmed me down just to see how relaxed HE was. more

We had a great experience with Confident Driving School. Ken, our instructor, was calm and made my daughter feel relaxed and confident on the road. He was knowledgeable and experienced and provided my daughter with the skills to help her feel more in control and at ease while driving. Thanks!!!! more

We found this an easy-to-use service. Ken, our teacher, was very friendly, efficient, and delivered on his promise that he would teach my daughter to drive well and steer her (as it were) through the process of passing the driver's test. This is the second time we've used Confident Driving and we are very satisfied. more

Excellent driving school 10/23/2008

Although I had driven 4 years back, I had lost touch from driving. The instructor - Ken was absolutely great. He remembered each and every weak point and trained me very well to overcome them and then right before the test, he went over them again with me verbally so that I don't make any more mistakes and I got through easily. You must ask for Ken, he is THE BEST instructor one could ever have for driving lessons. Pros: Very Intelligent, knows how to get around the problem, and also resourceful more
