A few months back a group of young black proffessionals had a function at this establishment. We called ahead of time to see if we needed a bar minimum, reservations, etc. We were told no, however once we arrived, that all changed. We were all in business attire as most of us came directly from our corporate jobs. Our group mingled and ordered drinks from the bar as any patron would do. The event organizer was pulled aside and asked that we leave because we were making the "other" guests feel uncomfortable. We all took our money elsewhere. Even some of the white people that were in the establishment left with us because they were offended by the request. Black folks: do not spend your money here because they do not want it. Go figure.
