I Didn't Know 6/11/2011

I had no idea since I never go to dealerships (sometimes called stealerships) that one like this existed. Got my recall done with free rental car and found and fixed my window- on Sunday. Gave me a free inspection and recommended some things to do but didn't press me to get them right away - said "need future attention" more

GREAT Costco Buying Program 2/17/2011

So my review is in regards to New car internet sales. Costco recommended we visit Power Toyota (since they have some sort of discount agreement for Costco members.) I thought I would be dilligent and phone shop the other dealers in the valley before I commited to Power. I would write negative reviews about all the other stores in the valley considering the rude & run around comments but that would take all day. They made my decision to do business with Power Toyota a definate one! So rather than focus on the negative, Im writing a POSITIVE compliment here for Power! The Costco program at Power Toyota offers a great hassle & haggle free buying experience. I will always shop for a Toyota at Power. And you should too! more

Tempe Toyota is a great place to car shop. I have purchased 4 new Toyota vehicles all from different dealers. Most recently I purchased a 2011 Camry from Tempe. And By leaps and bounds I would recommend Tempe Toyota over any other Toyota dealer in AZ. This store conveys a professional and friendly atmosphere. You would be crazy to go anywhere else and deal with the headache and rigamarole games these other dealers play! I highly recommend Tempe Toyota. Im quite sure you will be just as delighted with your experience as I am. more

World Class Service Dept. 2/11/2011

We pulled up without an appointment for a required maintanence. We were greeted promptly and courteously by Javier. Who had us in and out in 1.5 hrs. We didnt have to drop off our car we waited for it. It was an overall great experience and I highly recommend visiting Javier in the service dept. He is very helpful and attentive. I would recommend anyone visit this location if they are looking for quick and courteous servicing. more

The buying process for my new Tundra couldnt have been better with Tempe Toyota! Ive been contemplating a new Tundra for nearly 2 years now. While doing so I visited almost every Toyota store in the valley (comparison shopping.) By far my experience with Tempe Toyota was the BEST. The salesman are actually trained on their product. The managers @ Tempe do NOT play the back and forth for 6 hours b*s* games. They were straight forward and actually very honest. Negotiations were fairly short & pricing was definately in my favor. The finance dept. offered several extended warranties some of which we did purchase. And best of all I was in and out in about 3 hours. I am looking forward to visiting their service dept. as well. As ive read online they have very positive reviews as well. I RATE POWER TOYOTA A++ more

Excellent Dealership Experience 2/10/2011

I was doing mostly online shopping and ended up contacting Jim at Power Toyota on a new Highlander. I've wanted one for a while but my past car shopping experiences have been less than enjoyable. I ended up going down and taking a test drive. The test drive went well, we started talking pricing and financing, payments and so on. Once my credit was run there was a problem with some old information on my report which wasnt made out to be a big deal. We got it resolved and my rate and payment ended up being much better as a result. I have dealt with the service department in the past which was also a positive experience. But as far as the sales and buying experience it was low pressure and professional. I did end up buying the Highlander I've been wanting for some time. Thanks for the great experience. more

We're Done..Goodbye, Tempe Toyota 11/18/2010

We submitted a complaint letter to the general manager this year stating several issues and concerns. These concerns ranged from gaskets that were not changed but were paid for..tires rotated but the lugs were not torqued down so we drive down the road with wheels rattling...told us that we needed new brakes on a vehicle that were replaced 3 months prior...replaced rear brakes on another vehicle, hear noises and discover that the rotors had been flipped. Had to take it back. Unacceptable presentations from representatives. Of course, we received a reply back as a result of our letter with the normal, expected responses and format that one would certainly do when their business and services are put on the chopping block. So we, stupidly, believe this crap and go back with our Camry for service. Yep..here we go again..same thing...nothing changed.. the advisor called me to say that we need the rack and pinion replaced for a mere $800/1000. We're done.... more

You WILL get ripped off! 5/20/2010

This place exists for one reason, to rip people off! I went in to get my oil change, which took over an hour, and as I was waiting in the "lobby" I heard at least 3 of the salesmen try to sell people crap they obviously didn't need and wouldn't listen to the customer when they said "No." After an hour of waiting, the "mechanic", Adam Rodriguez, comes over and tells me that I need the following: Cabin Air Filter - $59.95 Dirty Brake Fluid - $119.95 Timing Belt = $345.54 I had already gotten the Timing Belt replaced by Tempe Tune-Up a month before the oil change and when I told him, he told me, "Well they didn't put a sticker on it, that's how we can tell when it needs to be replaced." Are you FREAKIN' kidding me?!? How can a place claim to service cars and not know when to change the Timing Belt??? I DO NOT recommend ANYONE go to this place, they are just out there to make a quick buck and don't care about their customers. I think CBS or ABC should do a special investigation on this place and SHUT THEM DOWN! The coffee in the "lobby" was nice :). more

Poor follow-through serivce! 8/15/2005

I went in to Tempe Toyota for a problem that I have been consistently having with my car since purchase a year ago (was new at time of purchase). Tempe Toyota was unable to help and unwilling to further search for the cause of the problem. They stated that Toyota has known about the problem for a year and has not yet found a solution!
