Some of the greatest historical citizens of Sacramento are buried here. This includes the Crockers, the McClatchys, and many others. They have free guided tours some Saturdays, and they have paid lantern light tours on days like Friday the 13th. I volunteer here once a year for one of the themed tours, and everyone who works here is really nice and very interesting to listen to. One of the greatest things about this cemeter is all the old headstones and crypts that give it a victorian feel.
