Went to see Dr. Steen for a procedure and having been to may different dentists in my life, this was the absolute worst. First of all, after I'm in the chair and ready to begin, he says to me he'll be right back and I don't see him for another half hour. Then he finally starts the root canal, then leaves again in the middle for a half hour. He did this three times. I had to go to the bathroom in one of those 'breaks' and saw and realized he was working on 2 other patients, one of which was waiting for him to come back just like I was!!!!
A procedure that should take half an hour ends up taking an extra full hour becaus he treats three different patients at the same time. What irks me the most is he actually lies to you and tells you some kind of bogus excuse like 'you need to rest' or 'this needs to drain' so he can get away to the other patients that are wondering where he's been. I've had 4 root canals, I think I know the full procedure by now. I asked another dentist about this and he laughed and said 'yea, unfortunately some dentists do that, more money'.
Another thing, I've never been to a dentist before that didn't carefully look at all my teeth to see what condition they were in. This man only looked at one tooth, fixed it and was gone, didn't even say bye or thanks to me.
He did a good job, but obviously didn't care about much else.
