Around Xmas I was recommended to Topper's Spa in Rittenhouse Square....I had never been there before so I wasn't sure who to book with. Well I ended up with Johnny Valentine and now I am hooked!
Johnny Valentine is the best stylist I have ever had! He helped put together a look that was perfect for me, with subtle highlights and shapely layers, and I absolutely love it! At first I was nervous about getting highlights because in the past I have ended up with some pretty bad ones, but as soon as he started separating the strands I could tell that he really knew what he was doing. In addition, he showed me several ways to style my hair at home, which was fantastic because it is always a problem for me to try to recreate that "fresh out of the salon" look. I actually managed to pull off a great blowout for New Years and got tons of compliments, all thanks to Johnny's tips and tricks he showed me! He is a real sweetheart too -- he offered to go put more change in the parking meter for me so I would not have to run outside with wet hair...and he brought me water to drink while I was sitting under the dryer. I have never had such an attentive and caring stylist. In all, I have been recommending Johnny Valentine to all my friends and would recommend him to anyone on this site as well. I found him to be friendly and down to earth, and we had a fantastic conversation. He is a very skilled stylist. Do yourself a favor and try him out, I guarantee your experience will be as fantastic as mine!
