Businiess name:  Vanguard Church of Colorado Springs
Review by:  Adam L.
Review content:
I've visited this church 4 times...and it has really surprised me. It meets in what used to be a small movie theater. The concession stand area has been converted into their information booth and coffee/drink bar. The different theaters have been converted into the various child care and kids program areas, as well as the sanctuary. The music at this church, mostly written by the lead guy, Richie Fike, is somewhat different in character than we are used to hearing. It tends to admit human error and ask for God to reveal himself and guide us. It's different from the "praise forever and ever" that is the only focus of a lot of music anymore. But the cool thing at this church is the Pastor. He speaks with clarity and a keen analysis of difficult passages, but he doesn't have a tone of omniscience. It's all an interpretation. And he does a good job of treading any poltical lines lightly. Check it out.
