I was a member of this parish for more than 8 years, and it is the most wonderful community to be a part of. I still have family there, so I do still return for mass and other events. The pastor is absolutely the nicest man, and the other priests are very nice as well. They truly seem to enjoy what they are doing, and are always very interested in what is going on with their parishoners. My husband went through RCIA there, and it was truly enlightening for both of us. We also went through marriage preparation and PreCana there. The new church is beautiful, and the choir and other singers are great. Beware on holidays, though. The parking lot is so full you can't move, and they end up having a joint mass at nearbly Lake Catholic high school. You have to go really early to get a seat in the church. I wish I still was able to call this my home parish.
