Review content:
My husband and I were getting ready to move to this area because he has family here. We had a beautiful collie named Akena. Akena had suffered from seizures since she was two years old. With medication we were able to keep them under control. On the night of Dec. 28, 2004 my husband found her in a seizure. Usually we could give her extra medication and she would come out of it. This time it didn't help. We called my husband's brother and he gave us a number for an emergency vet. When I called it the answering service asked if our dog was a patient of the doctors. When I replied no she said that she couldn't put the call through. We called my brother-in-law again. He gave us Dr. Ross' number this time, mind you it was around 10:30 at night. Dr. Ross and his family had just gotten in from a trip to Washington D.C. and he told us to meet him at the clinic. He was there waiting for us and did all that he could do for her. Two days later she passed away. When we went to pick her up so that we could bury her Dr. Ross and his wife helped us take her to the car and were so very gracious. About a week later we recieved a sympathy card from the entire staff. You just don't find such caring like that very often. Thank You Dr. Ross and Staff.
